NEW Molecular Technologist Opening at a large laboratory that provides comprehensive anatomic, clinical and molecular pathology services. Our Gallatin, TN facility is expanding and has an opening for a Quality Control Analyst III. Shift: 1 st Shift, full-time. Job Description: The Quality Control Analyst III plays a key role in ensuring the quality and consistency of soil and groundwater remediation products manufactured by REGENESIS. This position is responsible for performing inspections and laboratory testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods using a variety of analytical methods and instrumentation. The Analyst will document test results, support continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure laboratory equipment is properly calibrated, maintained, and safe to operate. This role reports directly to the Vice President of Quality & Process Improvement and collaborates closely with the Production Manager and Warehouse Supervisor. Key Responsibilities: · Perform quality control testing of raw materials and product samples in accordance with established SOPs. · Collect samples from production equipment and ensure timely, accurate testing. · Record, organize, and report test data using spreadsheets and internal systems. · Immediately communicate out-of-specification results to appropriate leadership. · Support root-cause investigations and assist with implementing corrective and preventive actions. · Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments such as balances, viscometers, pH meters, moisture analyzers, and centrifuges. · Communicate professionally with raw material suppliers and laboratory equipment vendors. · Assist with development, revision, and review of SOPs for new and existing production processes. · Partner with warehouse and production teams to evaluate product quality prior to shipment and support staff training on quality expectations. · Maintain compliance with company safety policies for laboratory and manufacturing environments. · Keep the laboratory clean and organized. · Perform additional duties or special projects as assigned. Qualifications Education & Experience High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in chemistry, quality assurance, or a related field preferred. Minimum 4 years of quality control or quality assurance experience. Experience with ISO 9001 strongly preferred. Status: FT - Sat 6a-10p; Sun 7a - 11p; PRN - Varies MEDICAL LAB TECHNICIAN - LAB  Analysis of various body fluids relating to the fields of microbiology, chemistry, serology, toxicology, urinalysis, coagulation, blood gases, special chemistry, and therapeutic drug monitoring to aid in the diagnosis of certain disease states.  Microscopic analysis of human cells relating to the fields of hematology and clinical microscopy to aid in the diagnosis of certain disease states.  Analysis of human blood relating to the field of immunohematology to provide adequate blood supply to the community and to aid in the diagnosis of certain disease states.  Analysis of human sites of infection to identify pathogenic organisms relating to the fields of microbiology, mycology, mycobacteriology, virology, and parasitology to aid in the diagnosis of infectious disease states.  Performance of Quality Control, maintenance, and trouble shooting of all analyzers and testing methodologies to insure quality of laboratory results.  Computer entry - Accessioning of patients in the LIS Laboratory Information System and Resulting and Verifying said results in the LIS.  Communicates proper knowledge of test results to physicians, nurses, and clients (i.e. Critical values).  Perform phlebotomies on patients to obtain proper samples for analysis.  Answer incoming calls from clients, physicians, and nursing staff.  Prioritize STAT, scheduled and outpatient orders.  Display courteous, professional manner towards patients, co-workers, nursing and medical staff.  Assist physician offices with all laboratory needs.  Maintain a clean working area.  Maintain patient/employee confidentiality and privacy at all times.  Complete assigned duties efficiently and in a timely manner.  Performs duties necessary to ensure quality in the department.  Seek guidance and direction when necessary.  Demonstrate the value of team concept on a consistent basis.  Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities.  All other duties as assigned.
