Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of acute care cardiac cath or interventional radiology experience and current ACLS/BLS certifications.
Responsibilities
Work in an acute care cardiac cath lab with 3 suites handling both IR and cardiac inpatient add-ons
Average caseload is 4-5 cases per day with a variety of diagnoses including compression fractures, venous access, chest pain, pulmonary hypertension, GI bleeds, PE, and DVT
Procedures may require intra-procedural circulating, medication administration, and sedation
Uses Siemens equipment, EPIC and Apollo cardiac charting
Day shift, 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, 4 days per week
Minimum of 10 weeknight call shifts and 2 weekend call shifts (1 IR and 1 Cardiac) required
Must float for call to all 3 campuses as needed
Call response time is 30 minutes to the home campus
Versatile lab primarily performing interventional radiology with cardiac inpatient procedures and STEMI stabilization, including IABP if needed
Team includes 3 cath lab techs and is supported by a supervisor who approves schedules
1 week of unit-specific orientation provided, including on-call training
Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care areas and compliance with this policy is mandatory
Surgical green scrubs required
RTO up to 7 days per 13-week contract must be requested up front; additional time off not approved
Candidates must not have been employed by any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and Dignity, within the past year
Permanent residence must be at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years hospital-based cardiac cath or interventional radiology experience required
Current RCIS, ACLS (AHA), and BLS (AHA) certifications required
Active state license required if applicable; pending licenses not accepted
Proficiency with Siemens cath lab equipment, EPIC, and Apollo charting systems required
Ability to circulate, administer medications, and manage sedation during procedures
Driver's license required for consideration and used to confirm compliance with 50-mile radius rule
Must provide two professional references: one supervisor from the last 12 months, one peer or supervisor from the last 3 years

The Gig:
The
Chemical Technician
plays a critical role in our engagement and customer longevity. It is responsible for ensuring maximum customer satisfaction, troubleshooting and resolving immediate issues, proactively addressing any potential issues and identifying areas of opportunity as it relates to the customer experience. The typical number of sites this role is responsible for is 50-75 sites per month.
What You'll Do:
Provide professional, expert solutions to all customers, to enable their business to be profitable and leave their customers satisfied with a clean, shiny, dry vehicle every time they use our products
Site Preventative Care & troubleshooting:
Titration of product as needed
Volumemetrics for product as needed
Minor chemical equipment/application repairs
Customer Satisfaction:
Responsible for site chemical conversions & installations, and keeping the customers informed of progress
Monitor customer levels and responsible for Chemical Inventory & replenishment orders placed at sites under responsibility
Maintain Wash Key Reporting - Service Report
Conduct NCS Site Surveys using the template
Support & execute on corporate accounts (CTC) per the protocols
Provide on-site revenue program training
Conduct Technical & Chemistry basic training with appropriate location personnel
Maintain accurate and up-to-date computer files (SF, Portal, Google & CTM) of customers and their issues
Analyze customer outputs, and make recommendations on technical updates or ways to increase efficiency and wash counts for the designated site.
Customer Expansion:
Identify areas of opportunity for our account, conduct an initial intake discussion and communicate to sales management
This individual is expected to comply with all applicable OSHA, EPA, Local Regulatory Law, and company safety policies. Management retains the discretion to add or change the duties of this position at any time.
Qualifications:
Associate Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred; or equivalent practical experience.
Car Wash experience is preferred but not required
Basic mechanical knowledge & aptitude
Ability to communicate internally and externally across all levels of the organization
Good microsoft office skills and basic knowledge of a computer
Demonstrated ability to provide the highest level of customer service and support.
Ability to function with minimal supervision and work in a team environment. Must be a self-starter and be extremely motivated.
