Job responsibilities include providing supervision, maintenance, and equipment oversight of the DOVAD Sculpture lab. The primary role will be to provide assistance and technical support for faculty and students in woodworking and metal shops. The successful candidate will have an eye for detail, organization, and cleanliness, as well as basic knowledge of woodworking equipment, processes, and techniques. The ability to initiate, establish, and foster communication and teamwork by maintaining a positive, cooperative, and productive work environment is essential. Lab aides may need to complete training sessions on a regular basis. Applicants should have an interest in physics as well as in teaching others. A basic understanding of data collection, spreadsheets and computers skills is necessary. Good understanding of scientific and math concepts is necessary. Preferred Qualifications Physics experience preferred.
