The Job You Will Perform:
The Lab Supervisor is a member of the Environmental, Health, & Safety Group and reports to the Environmental Manager at the Riverdale Mill. This position does directly supervise hourly employees.
This role ensures the continued success of the mill's environmental lab through training and mentoring the lab techs, performs environmental compliance testing, and analyzes results to identify problems and recommend improvements.
The job requires knowledge of standard lab test procedures and methods, execution of field sampling, calculation of test results, verification of accurate results and timely communication of test results to applicable personnel with little or no direct supervision.
Additional responsibilities may include:
* Independently performing non-routine testing and lab work
