Assistant will draw blood, collect specimens, and run EKG's on patients, process those specimens including accessioning in the LIS. They will also organize, check off and deliver laboratory reports, file reports and requisitions, restock and clean as needed all areas of the laboratory, answer the phone and front window, and perform other duties as needed. By perform those functions in the laboratory; they will help to maintain a smooth workflow for the laboratory technologists. Job responsibilities and performance of procedures are to comply with Section 652.450 of the Nevada Administrative Code, Bureau of Licensure and Certification, Nevada State Division of Health.
