Description Overview To ensure the Quality and Compliance of raw materials and products by overseeing daily laboratory activities including testing, scheduling, and laboratory documentation relative to the support of Perrigo operations and manufacturing needs. Please note: This is a 2nd shift position working from Sunday - Thursday, 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM 2027 Plant Closure Disclaimer In March of 2025, Perrigo announced that the current operations at our facility in Milton, VT will be migrated to our plant in Eau Claire, WI at the estimated sunset date of July 2027. However, production operations will continue for approximately the next two years, so we want to make the remaining work experience with us as compelling as possible during that time! Perrigo is committed to offering a highly competitive severance package for employees who see this project through to completion. At the time of the plant closure, if your tenure length is at least 12 months, you would be entitled to 52 weeks (one year's worth) of base pay, bonus, and company-paid COBRA coverage for up to 1-year following your exit. Scope of the Role * Provides support and oversight of all laboratory activities. * Initiates, completes, and monitors laboratory investigations to their closure. * Conduct training for technicians and take part in needed training to perform job function. * Lead and participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives. * Participate in internal/external audits and monitoring of lab quality control systems * Perform analytical benchwork as required. * Professional conduct demonstrating Perrigo's Core Values of respect, integrity, and responsibility. Experience Required * Ability to perform and troubleshoot analytical methods. * Ability to maintain and troubleshoot analytical instruments. * Previous experience with method validation, including drafting and execution of laboratory validation protocols, and the preparation of validation summary reports highly desired. * Previous experience with product deviation investigations, including drafting product deviation reports highly desired. * Previous supervisory experience highly desired. * A Bachelor's degree in a relevant Scientific field. * Minimum of 2 years in the field. AWI Seasonal Laboratory Technician II Status: Seasonal, Full-time, Non-Exempt Department: Adirondack Watershed Institute Reports to: Laboratory Manager Pay: $19.50-$21.50 Per Hour Description: The Seasonal Lab Technician II is a returning seasonal employee with prior laboratory experience who supports daily operations alongside full-time lab staff. This position contributes to sample receipt, processing, and analysis with a higher level of familiarity and independence. The Seasonal Lab Technician II will also assist in onboarding Seasonal Lab Technician I. Position runs from March through October and is scheduled for 40 hours per week. The position is based on Paul Smiths College campus. Duties & Responsibilities: * Maintain sample receipt and processing daily workflow. * Perform laboratory analyses (e.g., chlorophyll, pH, conductivity, color, CDOM, total nitrogen, dissolved organic carbon) with limited supervision. * Work closely with full-time lab staff to coordinate tasks and prioritize sample processing. * Review data entries and documentation for completeness and accuracy. * Help maintain lab inventory, restock supplies, and prepare reagents. * Troubleshoot minor equipment or procedural issues. * Follow all safety and quality procedures and assist in maintaining a clean, organized workspace. * Perform other duties as assigned by the Lab Manager.
