Operational Oversight • Coordinate OBD monitor validation, fault-injection, and drive-cycle testing for engines and hybrid powertrains. • Verify test requests, instrumentation readiness, and vehicle/facility availability to minimize downtime. • Enforce 5S, OSHA, and company EHS procedures at all times. We are seeking a Laboratory Assistant to join our dedicated team at Pinnacle Fertility - Michigan in Bloomfield Hills, MI. This is a full-time, on-site position working Monday-Friday, with flexibility to work either 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM as needed. This role requires a degree of flexibility, including participation in a limited weekend and holiday rotation based on laboratory needs. Key Responsibilities Assist with laboratory operations, audits, compliance checks, and reporting, including sample collection and handling. Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes. Manage and maintain cryogenic storage equipment, including handling and inventorying cryopreserved specimens (sperm, oocytes, embryos). Coordinate transportation of cryopreserved specimens with third-party vendors while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system and process medical record requests. Act as a primary point of contact between the laboratory, physicians, and nursing teams for lab-related coordination. Organize and manage laboratory paperwork, supply inventory, and administrative documentation as well as data submission. Assist with additional projects and administrative duties as assigned. Position Requirements Education: High school degree required. Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or a related science field preferred. Experience: 6+ months of laboratory experience outside of coursework preferred. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
