Required Qualifications:
One year's recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification
Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification
Preferred Qualifications:
Valid Radiologic Technologist license in compliance within state regulations
PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC Certifications
Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position
Summary:
The Cath Lab Technologist is responsible for assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab. This role involves preparing patients and equipment, monitoring hemodynamic data, assisting physicians during procedures, and ensuring patient safety throughout the process. The technologist operates specialized imaging equipment, maintains sterile technique, and collaborates with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care. This position requires technical expertise in cardiovascular procedures, critical thinking skills, and the ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations.
Essential Work Functions:
Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stent placement, electrophysiology studies, and other interventional procedures
Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents, and operating fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment
Operate and maintain imaging equipment, contrast injectors, and hemodynamic monitoring systems, ensuring proper functionality
Scrub in and assist with sterile field setup, ensuring adherence to infection control and procedural protocols
Perform sheath removal and hemostasis using manual compression or closure devices as directed
Maintain accurate documentation, including patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs
Assist with inventory management, stocking supplies, and ensuring proper storage of sterile instruments and medications
Adhere to radiation safety protocols, ensuring proper use of lead aprons, shields, and dosimeters
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements
Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards
Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice

Position Summary
A medical technologist has the appropriate educational background to perform laboratory procedures on neonatal, pediatric, and adult specimens using established and approved protocols that require the broad exercise of independent judgment and responsibility with minimal technical supervision, maintains equipment and records, and performs quality assurance activities related to test performance. Performs a variety of laboratory tests on blood, tissue and body fluids using both automated and manual methods. A caregiver who excels in this role will:
* Participate in selection of test methodology appropriate for the clinical use of the test results and verification of the test procedures performed and the establishment of the laboratory's test performance characteristics, including the precision and accuracy of each test and test system.
* Ensure enrollment and participation in an HHS approved proficiency testing program commensurate with the services offered.
* Establish a quality control program appropriate for the testing performed and establishing the parameters for acceptable levels of analytic performance and ensuring that these levels are maintained throughout the entire testing process from the initial receipt of the specimen, through sample analysis and reporting of test results.
* Resolve technical and operational problems and ensure that remedial actions are taken whenever test systems deviate from the laboratory's established performance specifications.
* Ensure that patient test results are not reported until all corrective actions have been taken and the test system is functioning properly;
* Evaluate the competency of all testing personnel and ensure that the staff maintain their competency to perform test procedures and report test results promptly, accurately, and proficiently.
* Evaluate and document competency assessment of testing personnel in laboratory area of responsibility at least semiannually during the first year the testing personnel tests patient specimens and annually thereafter.
* Direct observations of routine patient test performance, including patient preparation, if applicable, specimen handling, processing, and testing.
* Review of intermediate test results or worksheets, quality control records, proficiency testing results, and preventive maintenance records.
* Supervise staff and handle: staffing, hiring, orientation, scheduling, evaluating, and developing staff including continuing education initiatives.
* Develop and maintain department objectives and services.
* Maintain instruments and equipment in accordance with manufacturer's specifications. Implements and maintains performance improvement program.
* Assist with annual operating and capital budgets.
* Monitor, analyze, and justify expense and revenue within departments.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
* Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from a four-year college or university.
* OR Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
* OR Education and training equivalent to meet ASCP Board of certification qualifications for Histotechnologist (HTL).
* OR Education and training equivalent to meet ASCP Board of Certification qualifications for Cytotechnologist (CT).
* State of Florida supervisor's license in one or all disciplines.
* Meet the requirements and training of a Cytotechnologist (CT) as dictated by most current CLIA regulations.
* Five years of clinical laboratory training or experience, or both, in high complexity testing.

Summary:
As a Quality Control (QC) Technician, you'll be responsible for monitoring quality assurance activities from the receipt of raw materials to processing into finished product and ensuring product is within guidelines and Quality Control (QC) specifications. This role includes monitoring and supporting all departments by performing the following duties:
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Inspect the quality of incoming fruit loads as well as testing such loads.
Responsible for verifying as well as maintaining the Peracetic Acid concentration for Fruit Washing to meet FDA guidelines.
Obtain and test all raw juice, WIP, oil, and finished products, using current lab testing methods and techniques, and verifying the results against internal and/or customer specifications.
Calibrate, maintain, and use various laboratory equipment and instruments, such as Refractometers, pH meters, scales, and a spectrometer.
Load, unload, dispatch, as well as receive tankers and/or other bulk juice containers.
Track and verify juice in tanks in accordance with production needs and ensure that data is recorded on bulk manifest on an ongoing basis daily.
Verify the presence of PPE, such as hairnets, facemasks, gloves, etc. used for all plant employees and stocking them when applicable.
Updates bottling board daily and as needed throughout the shift.
Obtain retain and micro samples for all bottled and juice tanker samples.
Responsible for monitoring and filling hand dip and footbaths as needed, throughout the shift in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices.
Verify and record the temperature for juice tanks, the cooler, and the freezer on the appropriate documentation.
Prep and distribute a blank grade out report to the production area.
Record all results on respective paperwork and/or electronic platforms, such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Redzone, and/or BatchMaster to ensure HACCP guidelines are met.
Food Safety Requirements/Responsibilities:
Comply with all Plant, State, and Federal OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, cGMP, and SQF regulations/standards.
Conduct all verification activities to assure finished product complies with food safety and quality specifications.
Responsible for Non-GMO SGS Supply Chain Standards.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to comprehend the English language. Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus. Basic computer skills (Excel/Word).

Key Responsibilities
This role will include temporary night shift periods.
Inspecting the work in progress to assure compliance with the quality control plan and quality criteria as specified in the Contract Documents.
Performing quality control sampling and testing during construction or ensuring that outside companies are performing tests according to the specifications.
Verifying that the equipment used in testing meets test requirements, that tests are conducted according to procedures and best management practices, and that testing equipment and procedures remain consistent over the duration of the project.

Observe that storage facilities are applicable, protective, and secure to prevent damage or contamination to equipment and materials per specifications.
Review and maintain any manufacturer material certifications.
Pertinent information will be entered, and any non-conformances identified during material inspections will be recorded on a Material Delivery Receipt.
Basic Qualifications
Degree in an engineering discipline (civil, mechanical, electrical, structural), preferred.
