ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Inspects cast floats, float assemblies, and metal fabrications, hardware components, and lumber;
* Inspects the casting process per drawing requirements;
* Performs concrete tests per ACI / PCI and customer specifications;
* Scans production and inspection documents;
* Conducts safety tasks and inspections as required by The BMI Safety Program; and
* Documents and records QC activities.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
ACI concrete field testing tech Grade 1 Certification. Possess or ability to obtain PCI Quality Control Technician Levels 1 and 2 within 12months of hire. Ability to read production drawings.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient with MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook. Must be able to use a document scanner.

· Must be able to operate and maintain farm equipment such as irrigation pumps,
tractors, pickups, disks, sprayers, levelers, fertilizer spreaders, bed presses, mulch machines, pesticide applicators, etc.
· Must have general knowledge of farm operations and farm management principles.
· Bi-lingual English/Spanish ability is highly desirable but not required.
· Ability to handle stress especially when encountering necessary projects, deadlines and/or high workload.
· Must be able to work under strict time constraints and requirements.
· Computer experience with Microsoft Office software desired.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

An Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) responds to medical emergencies; renders aid to injured parties; operates ambulances and other related medical equipment; participates in station, equipment and apparatus maintenance; attends training classes and drills; diagnoses medical problems and performs first-aid and resuscitator functions; and other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge of:

Experience and Training
Experience: Must be a current Active Duty Service Member participating in the Skillbridge program.
License, Certificate:
Possess and maintain, as a condition of employment, the following:
* A current EMT certification as defined by the State of California Emergency Medical Services Authority (EMSA); or an EMT National Registry Certification (NREMT).
* A current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
* Possession of San Diego County EMT certification.
* Valid Driver License

Environmental Conditions: Exposure to varying inside temperatures, correspondent with seasonal climate outside; exposure to the hazards of emergency medical services, to smoke and hazardous material fumes, to heat from fires, seasonal elements at emergency sites; exposure to communicable diseases (HIV, HBV, HCV, tuberculosis, meningococcal meningitis, various parasites, etc.)
Physical Conditions: Essential and marginal functions require maintaining physical condition necessary for minimal to frequent bending, turning, reaching, grasping, kneeling, standing, sitting, and walking; and moderate to heavy pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying. Physical strength and agility to lift and carry heavy objects, such as a gurney while transporting patients; lift, pull and operate gurney; climb ladders and stairs; bend, stoop, kneel, and crawl in tight spaces.

SUMMARY This position is primarily responsible for inspection of raw materials, packaging materials, and purchased candy; development of supplemental procedures; and computerized archiving of supporting documentation. In addition, process verification and documentation control, test equipment calibration, sanitation, technical data, accuracy of formulation and nutritional information, and ingredient statements. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Inspects supplies and raw materials to verify quality standards. Inspects candy products purchased from vendors to verify quality standards are met. Establishes and/or revises written procedures for inspection of supplies and raw materials. Develops and maintains computer database for inspection procedures for materials, including certificate of analysis, Kosher certificates, allergen information, and product specifications. Reviews formulas to ensure all processing parameters and procedures are in compliance. Handles new item requests for Received goods (RIP) items and production level (WIP) approvals in the Quality Management System for all JB facilities (FF, NC, PDC, and Thailand). Samples and documents process data to meet product specifications. Verifies processing data and makes recommendations if necessary. Performs basic computer skills including but not limited to Windows, Spreadsheets, and Word Processing. Implements statistical methodology to analysis processing. Calibrates testing equipment periodically. Integrates technical data into reports including statistical charts. Provides and assists in designing forms for the manufacturing departments. Handles disposition of returns (RMAs). As needed, provides Q.A. coverage in the production area. Reports all discrepancies to Quality Assurance Manager.
