Part-time Description Greets patients; handles telephone calls. Enters/updates orders into the computer system. Performs phlebotomy duties; maintains positive identification of specimen throughout processing. Prioritizes tasks, giving STAT requests highest priority. Uses an understanding of the prin ciples of growth and devel opment to provide age specific treatment and care. Maintains supplies. Performs inventory. Dates reagents/other supplies; removes out dated items. Recognizes situations/results that need to be discussed w/Technologist. Distributes computer generated reports. Other roles and responsibilities Requirements Education and Experience: High school graduate or equivalency. Formal phlebotomy training &/or demonstrated skills preferred. Required Skills/Abilities: Demonstrated computer skills. Excellent com munication skills. Physical Requirements: Routine lifting requirements up to 50 pounds.
