SHIFT: Full-Time Days HOURS: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday The Laboratory Inventory Assistant will primarily be responsible for managing the laboratory's inventory, including accurate ordering, stocking, monitoring expiration dates, and ensuring proper rotation of supplies. In addition to inventory duties, the individual will be cross‑trained in other areas of the lab to provide support during periods of lower incoming inventory. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent attention to detail, strong independent work skills, self‑motivation, and solid organizational abilities, along with an understanding of how their role directly supports patient care. as well as related clerical tasks such as entering orders into the system, answering phone calls, and managing faxes. The incumbent may be responsible for patient and specimen registration and delivery of specimens. The ideal incumbent will possess strong customer service skills and be highly compassionate. Requires HS grad or GED Equivalent. Completion of a phlebotomy training program with experience in laboratory or coursework in biological, chemical or related science preferred. May require a valid Indiana Operators license and a good driving history for the last three years. May require an understanding of the traffic laws in the State of Indiana.
