We are looking for a dedicated and reliable General Laborer to join our team on-site at the Citgo plant in Lemont, IL, where you will perform industrial cleanup work. Initially, you will demonstrate your reliability by working at our Blue Island shop before transitioning to the refinery site. 2nd shift laborer **Job Band:** Non-Banded Performs manual labor type jobs in areas of the plant in support of line operation and on occasion outside the plant. Ensure quality product is produced and continual improvement. This position also has accountability for Q-RMP stands as outlined in the Claussen Woodstock accountability document. **Supervisory Responsibilities:** None **Essential Functions & Responsibilities:** * Hand unloads incoming Greenstock or supplies onto pallets from incoming trailers. Recycle the jars and dump the bags in the cooler. * Grading Room: Supervise the flow of Greenstock. Sweep the floor as required and remove garbage and chip off grade to the appropriate plant location. Transport totes and tanks of Greenstock to various areas of the plant. Net pickles in the line when needed and cut. Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor. * Bucket Operation: Transport empty pails from the storage area to the five-gallon line. Feed and/or stack five-gallon pails on the production line. Transport empty skids to the bucket line. General housekeeping and sanitation of their work area. Net pickles to the grading belt when necessary. Start application of lids on buckets by hammering. Transport filled bucket skids if required by Supervisor. Net, cut and transport pickles to the gallon line. * Hand Pack line: Dump and supply empty glass as needed. Hand dump glass when needed.
