FUNCTION
The Stable Laborer is responsible for cleaning and maintaining barn stalls, shed rows and grounds. Candidate will also assist in the day to day operation of the Racing Office and paddock during racing season. When requested, assist in the processing of stable applications and allotting stalls to horsemen.

Summary:
Scotty's Contracting and Stone is seeking a Construction Laborer to join our
Heavy Civil Division
. This position supports the successful completion of heavy highway, industrial, and commercial sitework projects. This position requires performing a variety of physical duties on active construction sites to support safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution. Laborers work under the direction of the Foreman, following all safety standards and project specifications. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and capable of working effectively in a team environment under varying weather and site conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general heavy civil construction labor duties
Operate hand and power tools in a safe and responsible manner
Adhere to all company, local, and federal safety regulations and protocols to minimize risk to workers, drivers, and pedestrians.
Take direction from the crew leader for assignments and job duties.
Perform minor servicing maintenance or refer major problems to Foreman and Shop Manager.
Remain aware of site conditions and report any hazards or issues to the lead or foreman promptly.

This position supports the successful completion of heavy highway, industrial, and commercial sitework projects. This position requires performing a variety of physical duties on active construction sites to support safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution. Laborers work under the direction of the Foreman, following all safety standards and project specifications.
