Job DescriptionSeeking a Bricklayer Foreman that will lead the masonry scope of work for commercial project. Responsibilities Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to determine materials, layout, and construction methods. Communicate daily progress and issues with the project manager or site superintendent. Inspect completed work to ensure it meets design specifications, building codes, and quality standards. Order, receive, and maintain inventory of bricks, mortar, and other masonry supplies. Ensure tools, scaffolding, and equipment are maintained and used properly. Minimize material waste and control job site cleanliness. Requirements 5+ years of experience as a bricklayer or mason, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Strong knowledge of masonry techniques, materials, and construction drawings. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications. Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage crews of varying skill levels. Strong communication and organizational abilities. Knowledge of OSHA regulations and job site safety practices. Physical stamina to work outdoors in varying conditions and lift heavy materials.
