Key Responsibilities: - Lead and supervise the concrete crew on-site, including laborers and finishers. - Review plans and layout for curb, gutter, sidewalk, driveways, and ADA ramp construction. - Verify ADA compliance by checking slopes, transitions, and grades using smart levels or laser levels. - Perform daily layout using stakes, paint, or string lines based on project requirements and provided grades. - Coordinate with Superintendent and Project Manager for materials, pour schedule, and inspection timelines. - Ensure quality concrete placement, finishing, and curing procedures. - Direct saw cutting, scoring, and joint placement as needed. - Communicate with inspectors and verify work meets specifications before pours and striping. - Ensure crew compliance with safety standards and proper PPE use. - Collect and turn in daily reports, timecards, material tags, and truck tags to the Superintendent or office staff. Required Qualifications: - 3+ years of field experience in related trade work with at least 1 year in a leadership or foreman role. - Ability to read and interpret construction plans and grade sheets. - Knowledge of ADA slope requirements and layout best practices. - Strong leadership and communication skills for crew direction and coordination with management. - Familiarity with concrete equipment used for placing, finishing, and checking grades and slopes. - Commitment to jobsite safety and team accountability.
