Responsibilities
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for safely operating of all cookers and reactor; sanitizing overhead hoist; sanitizing cooling press; filtering and packing of rendered fat; maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment.
This position has the responsibility to comply with Safety work rules at all times as well as an obligation to reinforce Safety as a Core Value. Ensures that all policies, procedures, and activities, related to Food Safety & Quality, are followed and complied with uniformly, in an effort to reduce product and process variability.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Handle, lift, weigh, batch and mix raw materials
* Maintain proper temperatures and cooking pressures liquid product, as specifications require
* Test solids content of liquid product in process and maintaining proper levels
* Monitor system capacity and maintain proper levels of liquid product in system
* Unload liquid tankers
* Process liquid product as per instructions given
* Monitor operation of cooking and processing equipment
* Operate electric pallet jacks and/or forklifts
* Maintain production records and reports
* Perform mid-shift clean-ups in the cooker room or processing room during operations
* Clean and sanitize cooking and processing equipment and facilities, following proper clean-up procedures
* Assemble cooker room equipment prior to operations
* Assist in clean-ups of other areas
* Use appropriate safety equipment and wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required, and follow proper safety procedures and regulations; use lockout/tagout procedures when required
* Assume personal responsibility to insure safe and healthy workplace for everyone. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures and incorporate safety & health in all jobs and tasks
* Adhere to quality work practices, follow GMP's, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product quality is maintained. Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety and quality
* Ensure regulatory compliance at all times
* Perform other duties as assigned

Embark on a fulfilling career at BNSF Railway, where joining our Engineering Department means contributing to the backbone of our nation's rail infrastructure. As a member of our Track Maintenance Team, you'll play a vital role in constructing, inspecting, and repairing tracks and other railroad assets and maintaining our railway corridors.
This is a full-time (40hrs/wk) position and is subject to on-call, overtime, nights, alternating shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Travel is required to (and remain at) job sites for extended periods, sometimes for days or weeks at a time, in the designated seniority region.
Training for this position is company-paid on-the-job and classroom training and will include travel to the BNSF Training Center.
Key responsibilities may include:
Track maintenance repair and installation; repair and rebuild railroad track as well as perform maintenance by pulling spikes, cutting, welding, or drilling rail. This also includes maintaining a clean right of way by removing hazards such as brush, trees, vegetation, litter, and cargo spillage.
Maintain trackbed which includes manually compressing ballast, remove/install ties and replacing, cutting, and adjusting rail in addition to lifting and carrying materials with assistance.
Operate equipment - power hand tools such as electric, pneumatic or hydraulic tools (drills, impact wrenches, jacks, power saws and grinders) as well as non-powered hand tools and shovels, picks, saws, and grinders.
Daily work is conducted in a safety sensitive environment where the working conditions can include diverse and extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, snow, and sleet), walking and performing work on uneven surfaces, working around loud noises, fumes, and heavy/moving machinery.

Primary Function:
The Concrete Construction General Laborer is a support role to the skilled trades on highway construction projects. Laborers may operate a variety of equipment including hand and power tools: air hammers, earth tampers, small mechanical hoists, surveying, and measuring equipment. They clean and prepare job sites, clean up rubble and debris and any other items as directed by the Foreman or Division Manager.
Concrete Laborer Essential Duties and Responsibilities (but are not limited to):
Prep construction sites by clearing obstacles and hazards
Assembling and disassembling all temporary structures and forms
Manage traffic movement and traffic control in the construction area
Cleaning and moving debris and waste materials from or near the construction site
Loading and unloading materials and supplies
Digging trenches, removing filling, and/or compacting earth with use of shovels and rakes
Following supervisors' instructions
Assist carpenters, and other skilled craftspeople with various tasks such as concrete footings, setting curb forms, ADA forms, and paving forms
Build job specific wood forms and assemble commercially available form systems
Demonstrate versatility through properly utilizing other types of heavy machinery when needed (e.g. excavator, skid loader, and others)
Finish bridge decks such as concrete vibrator
Set and tie steel as required
Pour, grade and finish concrete
Shovel dirt, gravel and asphalt
Perform general housekeeping and cleanup of the job site
Check and maintain grade stakes and other survey markings
Maintain equipment and tools
Enter confined spaces as required
Rigging
Provide flagging and direction to Crane Operators
Must be able to walk on rebar
Perform incidental work items and duties included within other crafts
Perform general labor and other construction related duties as required
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

Travel is required to (and remain at) job sites for extended periods, sometimes for days or weeks at a time, in the designated seniority region.
Training for this position is company-paid on-the-job and classroom training and will include travel to the BNSF Training Center.
Key responsibilities may include:
Track maintenance repair and installation; repair and rebuild railroad track as well as perform maintenance by pulling spikes, cutting, welding, or drilling rail. This also includes maintaining a clean right of way by removing hazards such as brush, trees, vegetation, litter, and cargo spillage.
Maintain trackbed which includes manually compressing ballast, remove/install ties and replacing, cutting, and adjusting rail in addition to lifting and carrying materials with assistance.
Operate equipment - power hand tools such as electric, pneumatic or hydraulic tools (drills, impact wrenches, jacks, power saws and grinders) as well as non-powered hand tools and shovels, picks, saws, and grinders.
Daily work is conducted in a safety sensitive environment where the working conditions can include diverse and extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, snow, and sleet), walking and performing work on uneven surfaces, working around loud noises, fumes, and heavy/moving machinery.

The Concrete Finisher position will begin in Odessa, NE, and require extended travel and work throughout the Midwest (e.g. Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas, Nebraska, etc.). * $26.00+/hour BOE * Per Diem Benefits Primary Function: A Concrete Finisher is a person with the skill and experience necessary to perform a variety of construction activities relating to the layout, preparation, placement, and finishing of concrete. This position is expected to perform all aspects of concrete work with minimal direction from a crew foreman.
Typical Duties:
Work relating to the layout, site preparation, placement, and finishing of concrete on a variety of military/government/commercial type construction projects. While not inclusive, the following are some of the typical tasks expected of this position:
* Ground preparation and setting forms to required pitch and depth
* Cutting/bending/setting reinforcement
* Spread, level and smooth concrete using rake, shovel, hand or power trowel, hand or power screed, and float
* Mold expansion joints and edges using edging tools, jointers and straightedge
* Cut out damaged areas, drill holes for reinforcing rods and place rods to repair concrete, using power saw and drill
* Chip, scrape, and grind high spots, ridges, and rough projections to finish concrete using pneumatic chisels, power grinders, or hand tools.
* Work outdoors in extreme temperatures, both hot and cold.
* Regularly lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
* Climb, stoop, bend, and squat as required for various duties
Required Qualifications:
* Must be at least 18 years of age.
* Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug screen with a "Negative" result.
* Must be able to complete a post-offer physical with a "Capable" result.

Job Description
Reporting to the Superintendent but responsible for overseeing and inspecting the paving crew in all phases of the project.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to;
* Interpret and implement construction plans.
* Read, understand, interpret and enforce safety policies and practices.
* Assist the Superintendent with scheduling the projects in logical steps based upon employee and equipment availability and completion dates.
* Coordinate the requisition of supplies and material with the Superintendent.
* Confer with managers, sub-contractors, and Project Managers on a daily basis or as needed.
* Must be willing to work the hours needed to complete projects in a timely manner while meeting quality standards.
* Manage paving crew to ensure that Werner Construction's high quality standards are consistently met.

Qualifications:
