Summary: A CDL Laborer will perform pavement marking duties in accordance with all safety regulations and procedures including operating specialized equipment and manual labor as needed. Duties & Responsibilities: Drive, operate and maintain equipment and vehicles used in the performance of pavement marking duties in a safe manner. Document existing striping and layout with the implementation of blueprints. Read and interpret work tickets to determine material to load for specific jobs. Set up and prepare equipment for job sites including traffic control, layout equipment prep work and other maintenance. Operate equipment that installs or removes pavement markings and installs rumble strips and plowable markers. Operate electronic equipment including paperless ticketing and tablets. Effectively communicate with engineers, project managers or job site supervisors in a professional manner Other projects and initiatives that drive organizational goals and results. Supervisor Responsibilities: None Education, Certifications & Qualifications: High School diploma or GED is required. Valid Class A CDL with DOT physical and clean driving record. CDL endorsements of air brake, hazardous material and tanker and ability to operate a manual transmission. Ensure all inventory entries are complete and accurate. Inspect and maintain quality of product. Meet all quality and efficiency standards.
