What to Expect: As an Industrial Maintenance Laborer, you will perform corrective and preventative maintenance on all manufacturing equipment. This position is expected to assist other Maintenance Technicians while learning to work more independently.

What You Can Expect:

* Organize, carry and load heavy (up to 50lbs) job materials. Perform set-up and clean-up tasks on the job site.
* Dig and back-fill trenches/holes.
* Make repairs in crawl spaces (confined spaces), basements, and around home foundations.

Construction Laborer/Operator

Contractor's Specialty Service Company is the Arkansascontractor of choice for temporary and permanent pavement marking and marking removal services. Our services include long line thermoplastic and paint striping, detail and parking lot striping, airport striping, decorative crosswalks, and pavement marking removal. Through a combination of highly trained staff and state-of-the art equipment, CSSC is able to exceed the expectations of our government, contractor, and private business customers.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Manually load or unload equipment, materials, or supplies
· Assist with layout of roadway markings.
· Correctly load and secure all loads.
· Drive assigned vehicle/equipment as directed to and from job site. Including daily pre-trip inspections of assigned truck and log keeping, as required. (eligible drivers only).
· Perform roadway preparation, including grinding, sealing, tape removal, as directed.
· Once Flagger certified, assist in traffic control as directed.
· Assist in maintenance of assigned equipment.
· Responsible for maintaining assigned PPE and having proper PPE on hand for scheduled work.
· Participate in all required safety training including weekly Toolbox Talks.
· Clean and organize warehouse, shop, yard, office, and vehicles to maintain a clean, safe work environment.
· Responsible for reporting all incidents you are involved in or witness to the Safety Director as per company training and incident reporting protocols.
· Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check, motor vehicle report, and drug screen. Random drug screens are also performed post-employment.
· Must possess a current Driver's License; Commercial Driver's License (CDL B) preferred
· Must be able to work a flexible schedule with overtime, nights, and weekends as the job requires
· Must be at least 21-years of age to meet driver's insurance eligibility requirements for company vehicles
· The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.
· Must meet the eligibility requirements of the company Fleet Policy to be a company sanctioned driver.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
· Must possess good interpersonal skills.
· Good communications skills, both written and oral.
· Ability to apply concepts of basic math.
· Ability to manage time between two or more projects at one time.
· Ability to read and comprehend instructions and procedures.
· Possess minimum ability to read a tape measure.
· The ability to apply knowledge and skills to achieve intended results.
· Must successfully complete company provided First Aid, CPR, AED, and Flagger training/certification
· If required, must successfully complete company provided Forklift training/certification - understand you are not permitted to operate company forklift until certification is received.
· Must successfully complete company provided Traffic Control training/certification
· If required, must successfully complete company provided Smith Driving training/certification (eligible drivers only)

Salary:
Baldwin & Shell Construction Company is looking for a Carpenter who will thrive in our company.
The Carpenter is responsible for constructing wood-based products, layouts, installations, repairing, finishing, and maintaining various structures such as buildings and fixtures. They must comply with local building codes, and health and safety regulations. The Carpenter reports directly to the Assistant Superintendent or Superintendent.
Responsibilities:
Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to fully grasp requirements.
Construct and install building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes.
Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.
Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed.
Cut, shape and smooth lumber and other material (e.g. fiberglass) according to measurements.
Build window frames, doors, staircases, and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items.
Lay out flooring, roofing or drywall ensuring they are level and compatible.
Carve and assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves, and other items and install them where designated.
Inspect places and conduct repairs or maintenance.
Build scaffolding and other construction structures.
Minimum Qualifications:
At least three (3) years of carpentry, construction, and hardware experience.
Must have experience installing doors and hardware on commercial construction projects.
Good communication skills.
Knowledge of basic mathematics.
Ability to take accurate measurements using and reading tape measures.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Ability to operate tools, machines, and other equipment safely.
Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug test.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in commercial construction.
