Job Summary The Construction Worker II must be able to perform work independently in a variety of trades including, but not limited to, rough framing, insulation, drywall, paint, finish carpentry from the initial stage to completion. Provides detailed, written project updates to Superintendent or Operations Manager outlining progress of work, delays, issues, or concerns. Applies project plans and instructions taken from Superintendents or Operations Managers and communicates same to crew. Performs a variety of tasks, as assigned by Project Directors and Operations Manager, to help expedite the completion of job. Ensures team is compliant with OSHA mandated; promotes company safety protocols; educates and trains crew members as necessary. Attends safety briefings and trainings as required. Completes required documentation efficiently and in a timely manner including but not limited to timecards, mileage reports, and expense reports Applies knowledge and awareness of RMC core values in day-to-day activities and promotes same to crew members. We are looking for a well rounded guy with experience that is capable of joining the team and picking up what's needed quickly. We do both remodels and break fix work. You must have reliable transportation and your own tools. Most of our work is in San Diego county but sometimes we have to drive alot for work outside the county. We provide any large tools or specialty stuff but you should have the normal basics to show up and work at a site. You will be doing standard remodels such as kitchen and bathroom remodels as well as commercial and residential work orders where you will be dispatched to a site where you will need to check in and let the office know the issue and solution so we can propose the fix to the client for you to repair.
