The Moving & Recycling Services Unit is one of nine total shops in the Maintenance & Operations Unit and is comprised of three Laborers who report up, through the Associate Director - Custodial & Moving Services.
Key Responsibilities
* Move heavy objects such as furniture, equipment, materials, and supplies

* Provide excellent customer service by representing the City in a professional manner
* Handle customer transactions, including tee time reservations and grouping players
* Assist with timely opening, closing, and securing facilities, such as pro shop, restrooms, cart building
* Assist with moving golf carts from the storage facility to the customer staging area and return golf carts to the storage facility after use

WORKING CONDITIONS

The position also requires both near and far vision when operating assigned equipment. Acute hearing is required on the golf courses and in the pro shops. The ability to work in inclement weather conditions, such as wet, heat, and cold.
