    The primary purpose of this position is to perform a variety of tasks to improve and maintain the physical quality of an assigned property or project. The incumbent performs general work to clean and prepare job sites. This position might also require using a variety of hand-held tools and construction equipment when required. This position may travel between South Bend, IN, Elkhart, IN, and La Porte, IN. All activities must support Advantix's strategic goals and objectives and produce results that accomplish the goals of the overall organization. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Primary areas of responsibility and tasks that may typically be expected include but are not limited to: Unloads tools, prepares building site materials, stacks building materials, and sets up equipment. Implements project instructions from construction manager or supervisor. Employs construction and maintenance tools and equipment to complete daily tasks. Ensures regulated and proper headgear, ear plugs, gloves, safety glasses and clothing are worn. Completes all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner. Operates a variety of tools and construction equipment in accordance with safety procedures. Prepares new construction sites by digging, moving dirt, or compacting space. Aids contractors (i.e., craft workers, electricians, painters) as needed. Cleans and clears debris from construction sites. Ensures construction equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly. Performs other related duties as assigned. Maintains a safe working environment by following all company and OSHA safety protocols.
