Machine Operators will be responsible for operation of machine in their area, while maintaining a safe, efficient workflow with quality outputs. The General Laborer responsibilities include safety, quality of product produced, quantity of product produced, all reports and or data collection, and effective operation of the machine center. Assists the machine center as needed to maximize the setup and operation of the machine center in a timely manner. All individuals assigned to the General Labor are to work together in a safe, efficient and effective manner to insure the production of a quality product. To achieve this level of operations all employees are required to comply with all applicable Plant and OSHA safety rules. GENERAL DUTIES: The General Labor responsibility is to assist the Operator/Assistant Operator of a machine center with the quality production of all products. The General Labor will also perform any other duties as assigned by any member of management. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have demonstrated the ability to perform each normal duty satisfactory in this classification and all lower classifications in this line of progression. Also, the ability to learn to perform the normal duties in the next classification in this line of progression.
