Perform janitorial and general labor functions in the manufacturing area as needed and directed. Assist in a variety of manual labor tasks such as but not limited to preparing drums for use in Production, repairing wooden pallets, opening defective cased goods, cleaning floors in the Production area, assisting in weed control and yard clean-up or other manual labor duties as needed. Collect pulp in appropriate containers as required. Take hourly samples ensure we target customer specification. Report all out of spec products to Supervisor or Lead on shift. Safely operate Forklift. Complete daily Forklift checks. Responsible to a specific CCP in the HACCP plan regarding: CCP #2 - Juice Load Out or Packaging Screens. CCP #4 - Packaging Integrity. Monitor CCP 2/4 and document packaging per shift. Follow all safety rules and practices to include the wearing of all essential personal protective equipment. Report all Hazard to Supervisor/Manager or enter in Industry Safe. Follow all personal hygiene and food safety practices. Demonstrate reliable attendance, consistent punctuality and a conscientious attitude always. Act professionally towards customers, vendors and other visitors to the plant. Perform other duties as required or assigned. Qualifications and Education Requirements Must have a forklift license or the ability to obtain one. Ability to speak English desirable. Physical Requirements The ability to meet flexible and changing priorities and the ability to work under pressure is a must. 100% standing, climbing ladders and stairs in a normal manufacturing environment.
