TRACK LABORER Mass Coastal Railroad Status: Full Time/Hourly Proposed Rate of Pay: $20 - $22/hr About the Company: This position is for a Track Laborer at Mass Coastal Railroad in Lakeville, Ma. The ideal candidate will be required to perform routine maintenance and construction work on railroad tracks, bridges, and right-of-ways. Primary Responsibilities: Operate track maintenance equipment (hydraulic power tools, spike puller, etc.) to grind ends of rails, remove old spikes, drive new spikes, cut ties and perform related maintenance Work in a team setting as a member of a work crew Use power drill to drill holes through rail or tie plates for insertion of bolts and spikes Operate track wrench machine to tighten or loosen bolts at rail joints.
