What You'll Do: * Operate machinery used in the production process or assist machine operators. * Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards. * Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using hoists. * Count finished products to determine if product orders are complete. * Record information such as the number of products tested, meter readings, and dates and times of product production. * Reclaims cutting and lubricating oils from machines by pumping oil from machine reservoir into barrel, dumping oil from barrel into centrifugal separator that removes metal chips and dirt from oil, and drains clean oil from separator into containers. * Removes metal chips and shavings from surfaces of machines, using rag or air-hose, and wipe surfaces of machines with rag to remove excess oil. * Cleans around work areas, using broom and shovel. * Separates metal shavings, chips, and scrap materials from trash and places them in bins for sale. * May remove burrs or excess metal from machined parts, using files, sandpaper, emery cloth, or grinding machine. * Other duties may be assigned. Job Description , the following duties may be performed: With training and oversight provided, you will be performing all duties related to the pavement marking process Including but not limited to driving and operating of Thermoplastic Trucks, Paint Trucks, TMA Trucks, and other Pavement Marking equipment. Properly load and unload materials from trucks and trailers by hand and forklift Operate large and small vehicles Effectively operate the following Vehicles/Equipment: hand machines, forklift, hand grinder, 3M hand-tape machine, 3M adhesive applicator and hand-roller tamper cart. Install Preformed Thermo Follow all Safety Policies and Procedures All other duties as assigned Working Conditions Regularly required to stand/walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop; and kneel, crouch or crawl Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions; moving equipment and machinery parts; moving traffic, fumes and airborne particles Noise level of the work environment is usually moderate/to loud Requirements Valid Drivers License and Clean MVR Able to pass pre-employment drug test Able to obtain a DOT Medical Card Travel Overnight travel is required and can extend up to a week or more at times, with little to no notice. Perform maintenance as needed. * Construction and installation of concrete forms and bracing materials. * Pour and finish concrete. * Ability to measure and cut materials to required size for installation. * Ability to install framing, wall covering materials including installation and finishing of sheetrock, and finishing trim work. * Ability to determine paint types and apply per specifications, including brush and roller applications with minor spraying abilities. Qualifications: * Familiarity with common construction trade tools, including use, safety standards, and maintenance. * Heavy Equipment operating experience a plus (Skid, Trackhoe, and Backhoe). * Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted. * Light mechanical experience a plus. * Proficiency in using finishing tools and equipment. * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. * Excellent attention to detail and quality control. * Ability to interpret and follow technical plans and specifications. * Must be able to read and communicate in English to understand technical documents, safety procedures, and instructions relevant to job duties.
