About This Role
Our Laborers work primarily on our jobsites to fill gaps between subcontractor trades and keep our projects moving safely, on-time and on-budget. Hours are usually 7am-4pm (M-F), 40-hours per week. Overtime is available, and some weekend work may be required.
On a Given Day, Your Work Might Include
Observe all safety requirements on job sites, and actively seek to correct or report safety hazards or infractions
Operate a variety of tools safely, including but not limited to: skill saw, drill, nail gun
Moving, securing, installing, building, and loading or unloading construction materials
Assisting in the building or construction of various objects
Effectively using heavy and light equipment, depending on the jobsite/assignment
Moving dirt or other material as directed in plans or by the Project Manager
Moving items from place to place, according to direction from the Project Manager
Maintain a clean job site
Perform other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements
Frequent physical work including lifting, digging, bending, twisting, kneeling, climbing ladders, and using hand and power tools
Lifting up to 100lb on occasion
Standing and/or walking for extended periods of time
Ability to work outdoors in cold and hot weather
Travel & Vehicle Requirements
Regular travel between job sites within a 5-mile radius of Bellevue and Kirkland
Valid WA State driver's license, an acceptable driving record and proof of vehicle insurance are required

1-2 years' hands-on experience in residential construction. Carpentry experience strongly preferred

This is a full-time position paying $20.82/hr - $29.15/hr. The hourly range represents the anticipated low and high end of the hourly range for this position. Position Description
In this position, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to safely and efficiently load and unload Mutual Materials products. This includes loading company trucks as well as customer vehicles.
As this is a customer-facing role, providing exceptional service is essential to maintaining and promoting positive customer relationships.
While forklift operation will be your primary duty, you may also be required to hand-load customer vehicles as needed. Additional responsibilities include maintaining the yard, managing inventory, breaking down pallets, and handling shipping and receiving documentation.
This position requires outdoor work and is subject to all weather conditions.
On the job training will be provided to all New Hires by experienced Mutual Materials employees. This is a full-time job, Monday-Friday 7am to 4pm.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Similar/related work experience in the building materials industry is preferred.
The qualified candidate will have great customer service skills and a positive attitude.
Ability to work both independently and as a member of a fast-paced distribution team.
Physical capacity to lift 80+ pounds; able to be on your feet for most of the day; bending, twisting, and lifting are essential for this position.
OSHA certified forklift certification/ experience is preferred.

Position Description
In this position, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to safely and efficiently load and unload Mutual Materials products. This includes loading company trucks as well as customer vehicles.
As this is a customer-facing role, providing exceptional service is essential to maintaining and promoting positive customer relationships.
