We are seeking to add a Laborer to our team.
We want a team player who can assist our drivers by loading/unloading construction materials on and off our trucks. The team members will also need to help with daily warehouse tasks.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Sorting and placing received materials on racks, shelves, and/or bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, color, etc.
Assemble customer work orders for pickup.
Assemble customer orders on trucks for delivery when needed.
Operate a forklift and pallet jack when needed.
Maintain warehouse cleanliness, for example, materials returned to shelves properly and in order, aisles are clean and accessible, sweeps as needed.
Follow all safety rules and policies, including all mandated safety protective equipment.
Requirements:
Forklift experience would be beneficial
Position involves heavy lifting 50-100 lbs.
Building product knowledge and sheetrock handling desirable but not required.
Applicants must pass a pre-employment physical examination including a lift test and drug screening.
