This is a temporary, full-time, peak load position.
The dates of employment: April 3, 2023 until October 15, 2023.
Job Duties:
Set the forms that hold concrete, including wire winding, to ensure that desired pitch and depth are achieved, and to ensure proper alignment.
Perform shotcrete-method concrete application, and spread, level, and smooth concrete as necessary.
Place reinforcements and perform tank erection tasks, ensuring proper construction.
Monitor how the wind, heat, or cold affect the curing of the concrete throughout the entire process.
Placing and finishing concrete, including application of hardening and sealing compounds to cure surface of concrete, and waterproof or restore surface.
Perform related carpentry tasks, and operate tools including (but not limited to) power vibrator, rake, shovel, hand or power trowel, hand or power screed, and float.
Install and dismantle dome scaffolding, and work at heights on scaffolding as necessary for project purposes.
Qualifications: Requires at least 3 months of experience as a Concrete/Cement Finisher (commercial), Concrete/Cement Mason (commercial), Construction Laborer/Worker (commercial), Concrete Laborer (commercial), Scaffolding Operator (commercial), Concrete Carpenter (commercial), or a similar commercial construction occupation. No other special education or training requirements apply.
Special Requirements: Requires post-hire, pre-employment drug screen (costs paid by employer). Must be capable of doing physically strenuous labor; regularly required to stand, lift & carry heavy objects, and operate power tools. Must be comfortable with heights, as work must often be performed on scaffolding and tall ladders. Outdoor work required, occasionally in extreme heat or cold (variable weather conditions apply).
Terms & Conditions of Employment: Salary is no less than $21.01/hour, and may be as high as $22/hour depending on tenure with employer, prior experience, and/or performance. In addition, subsistence (“per diem”) is paid during period of employment (paid monthly, $2,415/month). Medical insurance is available after 60 days of employment (employer contributes 60% of costs, while employee is responsible for 40% of costs). No other benefits are offered. Employer will NOT provide or assist workers with securing housing, lodging, or daily transportation to and from work site.
This is a full-time position, meaning that each Laborer will work AT LEAST 35 hours/week. Shifts will be available Mon-Sat 6a - 3p or 7a-4p. Employees are permitted a total of 1 hour of break each workday (15-minute mid-morning break, 30-minute lunch, and 15-minute mid-afternoon break). Overtime is occasionally available, and may be required at times, paid at standard 1.5x rate ($31.52/hour - $33.00/hour). Some weekend and/or holiday work may be required.
Pay is biweekly, calculated based on a single workweek. Employer will make all deductions required by law; no other deductions from employee paychecks will be made. The offered wage is equal or exceeds the highest of the prevailing wage or the federal, state, or local minimum wage. There are no other wage offers pertaining to this job.
On-the-job training will be provided. Employer agrees to provide to the worker, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned.
The employer guarantees three-fourths of the total number of work hours beginning with the first workday after arrival of the worker or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ending on the expiration of the date specified in the work contract (e.g., 315 working hours guaranteed within 12 week periods).
If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Subsistence will be at least $15.46 per day of travel, up to a maximum of $59.00 per day with documentation of actual expenses. Employer will provide or pay the reasonable costs for lodging where lodging is necessary. The general laborer's job description is to familiarize himself with all the job parameters, and to handle all the tools, equipment and material to take care of asphalt, sealcoating, and concrete projects.
The general laborer has many responsibilities alongside the mill, alongside the tractor and screed of the asphalt paver, alongside the rollers, and in between these machines, making safety one of his top priorities.
The general laborer's responsibilities are to take care of the project. He will perform this duty by sweeping, brooming, raking, shoveling, lining out the job, sealcoating, crack sealing, tying rebar, setting up frames, and more.
Throughout the shift, the laborers will maintain cleanliness around the project, shoveling up any spilled materials that could negatively affect the appearance of the job site.
At the end of the shift, the general laborers become maintenance men. They will help with cleaning up equipment, ensuring it's wiped down and free of materials that create problems later. The laborers will clean the tools and return them to the tool truck for safekeeping overnight. Don't forget to remove all spray cans and paint cans from equipment so vandals don't mark up your equipment at night. The laborers will also help with fueling the equipment at the end of the shift.

Key Responsibilities:
* Clean up work areas.
* Fuel vehicles and equipment.
* Clean tracks on track type and related equipment.
* Perform yard work, including mowing and paper pick up.
* Operate general site vehicles and equipment, such as water trucks, pickup trucks, sweepers, mowers, trimming equipment, etc.
* Perform general office maintenance and repairs, including painting and janitorial work.
* Direct traffic at the site as necessary.
* Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
* High school diploma or general education degree (GED) desired, but not required.
* Previous experience working outdoors, warehouse, or similar environment.
* Must be able to meet criteria for safety sensitive functions according to Company standards.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* Ability to follow instructions and perform duties under limited supervision.
* Ability to operate any equipment necessary to perform job.
* Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
* Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
* Ability to read, write, and comprehend reports to accurately complete daily assignments.
* Ability to work in accordance with Company safety policies & procedures, OSHA (Occupational and Safety Health Act) requirements, as well as all local, state, and federal laws.
Physical/Mental Demands:
* Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach and lift in an outdoor environment 90% of the time.
* Must be able to use hands and fingers, kneel, crawl, talk, hear, climb and balance.
* Visual requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
* Ability to manually lift/move up to 65 pounds regularly.
* Ability to manually push/move up to 100 pounds with assistance from another employee.
Working Conditions:
* Outdoors in varying adverse weather; low/high temperatures, wet and/or high humidity or sudden temperature changes.
* Exposure to outdoor elements, unpleasant odors, small space such as equipment cabs, exposure to fumes, dust, or uneven ground.

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Responsible for fast and clean servicing of all menu items to the customers.
Prepares, cooks and seasons food for customers. Variations on this job include line cook, vegetable cook, fry cook, or grill cook.
Controls food production to include; proper cooking methods, cooking time and temperature and ensuring sanitation, handling and storage of prepared food and leftovers.
Works with other kitchen staff to follow recipes, uses ovens, grills, microwaves, and other industrial cooking apparatus.
Prepares ingredients for the dishes that are cooked and served. This includes chopping vegetables, breaking down, cutting or grinding meat, weighing and mixing ingredients, washing and preparing vegetables, storing food, and more.
Prepares for rush period of work without getting behind; assists in keeping stock on hand and organizes orders.
Measures and weighs ingredients, monitors food for freshness and safety, maintains a clean kitchen and stores ingredients properly.
Ensures each order sent out is uniform and consistent.
Delivers complete orders to customers as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent preferred.
Previous restaurant, kitchen, food and beverage experience preferred.
Ability to obtain Food Handler Certificate.
