Prepare parts and materials for passivation, including cleaning, racking, and placement in tanks.
Achieve a clean and corrosion-resistant finish on stainless steel and other metals.

Key responsibilities
Essential Job Functions
Palletize, shrink wrap, and record and certify quantities.
Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping and sanitizing. Cleaning duties often require working at heights using a scissor-lift. During changeovers, GL's may work entire shifts of cleaning duties.
Perform varied line duties such as checking code dates, aligning bags on conveyors, refilling cardboard stock, moving product and materials with a pallet jack, filling and weighing bulk product containers, assembling boxes, etc.
Other duties as assigned.
Basic Computer skills required. Prior SAP or inventory control experience is beneficial.

Mobility is key in this position with duties calling for the ability to climb stairs, navigate catwalks, stoop, crawl, and move quickly around a production line.

Assist in the loading/unloading of heavy and light-duty trucks/equipment at client locations, including Vac Trucks, Transports, Rolloffs, etc.
Correctly use and maintain diverse personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators and protective gear for skin, face, hands, and feet in multiple configurations
Work in varying indoor and outdoor temperatures and all weather conditions
Function in environments with potential exposure to various chemical and physical agents, some hazardous, toxic, or corrosive
Ensure safe loading and unloading of hazardous and non-hazardous waste
Adhere to all local, state (provincial), and federal compliance regulations
Operate vehicles safely, following U.S. DOT, local, state (provincial), and federal requirements
