Description: Summary/Objective The general laborer position performs all tasks involved in the delivery of the company's services. The position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure services are as efficient and safe as possible. Supervisory Responsibilities: None Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Accurately tagging work to maintain operation flow. Inspecting parts and tools routinely for proper calibration. Request tools, parts and supplies in a timely fashion, as necessary, to maintain operational flow and inventory counts. Accurately track production and calibration on correct forms. Perform cleaning operations using detergent baths, degreasing, grit blasting, wire brushing, etc. Place finished goods on the designated rack. Notify supervisor of any mechanical, leaking or material issues in a timely fashion. Coordinate and expedite repair/assembly operations with Inspection Manager. Evaluate self-work to ensure compliance with work instructions and standards. Log completed work and prepare necessary documentation. Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area to reflect a positive image of themselves and the company. All personal protective equipment (PPE) must be inspected by the employee and worn upon direction of supervisors, managers, and the safety manager. Participate in mandatory safety or PPE training and notify their supervisor when new PPE is necessary. Maintain a clean, neat and groomed personal appearance to reflect a positive image of themselves and the company. All duties as assigned. Requirements: Physical Abilities Physical stature must be such that the individual can operate a machine eight (8) to twelve (12) hours per day.
