Childcare workers do not have guaranteed hours, but are called on an as needed basis when the sites are short staffed or need additional coverage for special events. Pour footings and install keyway where necessary Rebar placement in footings and walls according to plan Install wall forms to chalk line Use power vibrator to consolidate concrete in place for footings and walls Construct wall scaffolding according to OSHA Guidelines Familiarity with pumping concrete into footing and wall forms Setting anchor bolts properly Load and unload trucks and haul and hoist materials. Removing formwork, and performing the necessary maintenance on forms, e.g., oiling forms, maintaining tapper-ties. Clean and organize site to eliminate potential hazards. Keep job site, trucks, and equipment clean. Report any issues including the malfunction of equipment or vehicles immediately to foreman All other duties assigned.
