He was appointed to the position in October 2016 to lead the development and execution of the company’s "Build and Buy" profitable growth strategy. From 2006 to 2011, Mr. Schindler served as President of CGI Federal, a wholly-owned U.S. subsidiary serving U.S. government clients. As President, he led the integration of a $1 billion acquisition, adding capabilities and scale to the overall U.S. business. A recognized industry leader, Mr. Schindler is based at the company’s global headquarters in Montréal, and frequently speaks and writes about technology and business strategy topics. He maintains an active involvement in the community and is one of the executive sponsors for CGI’s Dream Connectors program, which connects the talents of the firm’s professionals with the needs of the more than 400 communities where they live and work every day.
