The ideal candidate will be proficient in various welding techniques, have a solid understanding of sheet metal fabrication, and be able to interpret blueprints and schematics. The Welder will be responsible for welding, fabricating, and assembling metal products, as well as ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. Duties - Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the correct welding procedure. - Fabricate sheet metal products using various fabrication techniques, including plasma cutting and press brake machine operation. - Assemble metal products using a variety of welding and fabrication methods. - Ensure that all work meets quality and safety standards. - Operate a plasma cutting machine to cut metal sheets and tubes according to specifications. - Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols. - Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and machinery. - Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective production processes. Experience - Proven experience in welding and fabrication, with a focus on sheet metal products. - Familiarity with welding codes and standards. - Knowledge of press brake machine operation and plasma cutting techniques. - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. - Experience with ductwork fabrication and installation. - A strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines. - Physical stamina and ability to lift and maneuver heavy metal products.
