Job Skills / Requirements Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties, with an emphasis on quality and efficiency in commercial cleaning tasks. Schedule: Monday-Friday * Shift: 3:00 PM-11:30 PM Pay: Paid weekly! (every Friday) * $14.00/hr Duties: * Must wear all PPE the entire duration of 8 hour shift, this includes: Steel toe shoes, hi vis vest, safety glasses, hard hat, etc.) * Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. * Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas. * Buff and polish floors to maintain their appearance. * Conduct thorough cleaning of windows, walls, and surfaces as needed. * Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts throughout the facility. * Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as required. * Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized. * Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Experience * Previous experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred but not mandatory. * Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is a plus. * Knowledge of commercial cleaning standards and practices is beneficial. * Experience with industrial cleaning methods is advantageous. * Skills in residential painting or general maintenance can enhance your application.
