Responsibilities + Assist pharmacists with prescription dispensing and related procedures. + Gather, input, and verify prescription, refill, and patient information. + Receive and organize incoming supplies. + Prepare labels and routine prepackaged orders. + Rotate through different pharmacy stations during shifts, such as register, filling, data input, insurance/prior authorizations, and call center (mail order). + Interact with a diverse patient population, including transplant, sickle cell, pediatrics, internal medicine, and employee medications. + Handle high volume of prescriptions, approximately 1200 scripts per day. Essential Skills + 1-2 years of pharmacy technician experience. + Active PTCB certification within 6 months of employment. + SC State license with Board of Pharmacy (BOP). + Experience in inpatient settings.
