Entrepreneurial, insightful, and collaborative business leader possessing a core set of competencies in the areas of strategic management, finance, investment advisory, business development, legal affairs, marketing/PR, data analytics and non-profit management and fundraising.

Helped to launch and grow two successful businesses. Across career raised $750 million to fund business operations and new investments. A consummate “road warrior”, built an investor base that included the 12th largest US pension fund, a 30+ year-old billion-dollar private family foundation, plus most treasured of all, a deep network of relationships with wealthy US families interested in alternatives assets, private market investments and food & agriculture business opportunities. In this last area, I had the distinct pleasure of working on blockbuster deals including the Warren Buffett-backed investment in Kraft Foods, the record-breaking acquisition of Smithfield Foods by Chinese-owned Shuanghui Group (WH Group), plus the development of the world’s second largest coffee company after Nestlé (through the distinctive JAB Group).

Prior to my career in investment management, I served as an Executive at two non-profits (7 years total), plus spent 5 years teaching high school history prior to that. My cumulative experiences have prepared me for the philanthropic work I am fortunate to do as a Board Member for several organizations: Economic development-focused Long Island City Partnership (LICP), Spain-based corporate e-Learning platform Snackson, the New York-based Community Foundation North Star Fund, and South Bronx Community Charter High School (Co-Founder, Chairman).
