First established as a mop manufacturer in 1947 in a New Orleans garage, brothers Errol and Clint Lagasse grew their business steadily, eventually transitioning to wholesale in 1971 after recognizing a need in the jansan industry. Due to their reputation of quality service and additional product lines, Lagasse Brothers, Inc. opened 3 new locations outside of Louisiana in 1986, and added 10 more distribution centers in 1990. This allowed for entry into new market segments such as foodservice, paper, industrial and safety.
