Receiving Attendant
Summary: Assists in receiving, storing, issuing and distributing supplies, food products and other goods.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Accepts and signs for deliveries from distributors.
Receives and verifies accuracy of product deliveries.
Compares weight, description and code numbers with the invoice, packing slip, or purchase order; record any discrepancies or damage.
Records and checks quantity and quality of goods received. Makes note of any damages &/or any other discrepancies.
Inspects, accepts or rejects inbound shipments.
Coordinates with appropriate personnel for product returns/repairs.
Receives liquor inventory and tracks by entering the bottles into the Scannabar system, printing labels, and tagging bottles.
Delivers product to appropriate personnel.
Moves and delivers inventory to various locations manually and/or by operating a pallet jack, hand truck/dolly and golf carts.
Fills requisitions for departmental supplies.
Manages stock records and inventory lists.
Maintains a counting cycle and keeps a record of all labels and tags of the received goods.
Communicates with Executive Chef and other management personnel to ensure that the products received meet the Club's needs and specifications.
Ensures that the receiving area is clean and organized.
Assists with monthly inventory.
Locks and secures inventory.
Complies with all safety procedures and standards with regards to the storage and receipt of merchandise.
Adheres to all Club policies and procedures.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HOSTESS
A Host/Hostess presents a positive first impression of the Club's friendliness, excellent service and high standards. A Host/Hostess must be able to carry natural conversation with Guests without sounding scripted or intrusive.
Ultimately, you will ensure our guests have a high-quality dining experience by serving their food in a timely and accurate manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet incoming and departing Guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact; escort them to assigned dining area; present menus; announce waiter's name
Use visual cues to seat Guests in either the bar or dining area depending on their preference
Inform Guest of current promotion and who will be serving them to ensure a smooth handoff to the service staff
Answer incoming calls to the restaurant and provide appropriate service
Manage the flow of Guests into the Dining and Bar areas, provide accurate wait times to incoming Guests if appropriate
Tend to special Guest needs and requests
Observant to Guests' needs throughout dining experience to ensure they receive high quality service (i.e. notice a drink refill is needed while seating another Guest and ensuring the drink is refilled prior to getting back to the door).
Protect the Club and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol control policies
Help dining room staff by setting and clearing tables; replenishing water; serving beverages as needed
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Schedule dining reservations and arrange parties or special services for diners
Address/take action on complaints and or issues raised by patrons
Assigns work tasks and coordinates activities of dining room personnel to ensure prompt and courteous service to patrons
Inspects hostess stand and restaurant entrance to maintain/neatness and cleanliness
Requisition menus and office supplies for wait staff.
Monitor music level and ensure all lights and fans are operating properly.
Ensure cleanliness of menus and all side-work is completed prior to opening
Answer the phone within 3rd ring with a courteous/enthusiastic/efficient greeting according to Club standards
Follow company Safety standards and follow safe working practices

REQUIREMENTS

Summary
Administers and supports all business strategies. Supports the Vice President of Operations with other additional projects as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain the confidentiality of the company's materials and information.
Provide accurate verbal and written translation as and when needed in dealing with various situations with employees, members, vendors, and suppliers.
Manages the Birchstreet Accounting function, Purchase Orders, and Invoices.
Order supplies and maintain inventory of necessary office/operating supplies.
Address guests and members service needs in a professional, positive, and timely manner.
Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette, within 3 rings, with a smile in one's voice, using the name, transferring calls to appropriate person/department, and requesting permission before placing the caller on hold, taking, and relaying messages.
Record-distribute Meeting Minutes for the Operations Team Meetings.
Attend scheduled meetings as needed.
Prepare and review written documents, including proofreading and editing written information to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Prepare letters, memos, and other documents using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software.
Maintain and organize in a professional manner, personal workspace, and shared department, spaces such as fax, copy and supply rooms.
Coordinate departmental and management team meetings.
Attend training classes to increase knowledge of software programs, company information, time management, or other skills as required.
Assist with payroll management.
Handle sensitive issues with employees, guests, and members with tact, respect, diplomacy, and confidentiality.

Minimum Qualifications

The Beach Club Supervisor's primary responsibility is the supervision of the Beach Club Restaurant/Bar /Pool and Beach Floor at Fisher Island Club, to ensure that the club's high standards are achieved and maintained within budgetary limitations. Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management degree and two years luxury service and management experience; or

Job Duties
Must be able to do landscaping, mowing, trimming, etc (all tasks related to landscaping)
Assist with maintenance work as necessary
Provide piping and setting of heads in new construction areas.
Clean up, as requested.
Perform additional duties as assigned
Must be flexible to work holidays and weekends
Education/Experience:
Must have a High School diploma
Must have a valid drivers license
Working Conditions:

The Bartender is responsible for ensuring resident and guest satisfaction by mixing and serving cocktails, filling server's orders and serving food at the resident's request in a luxury brand inspired Condominium environment where attention to detail is key. The Bartender will provide residents' with the best efficient, accurate and genuine service possible and exceeding resident expectations by paying attention to resident needs. Duties and Responsibilities
• Greet each resident promptly after seating in a warm, friendly manner using the resident's name.
• Presents menu, answer questions, make suggestions regarding beverage and food.
• Know the ingredients, preparation, and proper presentation of all beverage items and specials.
• Ensures that every product delivered to the resident adheres to the highest quality possible.
• Prepare drink orders for residents according to specified recipes using measuring systems.
• Remain observant and check in with residents to ensure satisfaction with each beverage and/or food course.
• Prepare fresh garnishes for drinks.
• Keep bar area stocked and organized, including, ice, glassware, tools and paper supplies.
• Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs.
• Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, the length of wait and product availability.
• Know layout of restaurant/Condominium and location of all equipment and supplies.
• Secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas.
• Setup and maintain cleanliness and condition of bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools.
• Assist as needed to maintain standards of appearance, sanitation and service in all areas of the restaurant.
• Key in (pre check) orders on the Micros terminal promptly and accurately.
• Present physical and accurate check to resident and process payment.
• Ensure compliance with all state alcohol requirements.
• Perform any other reasonable duties as required by management.

Required Experience and Education:
• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years experience mixing and serving beverages in a luxury resort, club, condominium or restaurant.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of popular cocktails and wines required.
• Basic computer knowledge (Point of Sales Systems).
• Must be of minimum legal age to serve alcohol according to state law.
• TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures) certificate required.
• Excellent eye for detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment.
• Ability to communicate in the English language. Second language is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends and able to perform multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of basic food handling policies and procedures as well as the techniques and equipment for preparing and presenting food products for consumption, including storage/handling techniques, proper chemical handling, and sanitation standards.
