Minimum Qualifications
Education: Associate's degree program in Radiologic Technology plus three (3) months or less of on-the-job training and orientation.
Licensure: Massachusetts license
Certification: A.R.R.T. registration. Registry eligible candidates must show supporting documentation that the exam was passed within 90 days of hire.

As a Radiologic Technologist specializing in mobile X-ray and EKG services, you will play a vital role in delivering timely, high-quality imaging that supports patient diagnosis and care. Key Responsibilities:
Perform mobile digital radiography (DR) or computed radiography (CR) procedures on patients in nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other designated sites.
Transport, set up, and operate portable X-ray equipment safely and efficiently from company-provided vehicles.
Obtain diagnostically sufficient images by adhering to technical protocols and ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Transmit X-ray images securely for radiologist interpretation in a timely manner.
Conduct EKG procedures (when required), transmitting data to cardiologists for analysis.
Scan and document exam-related paperwork and billing records daily to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Communicate professionally with peers, management, dispatch, and clients to coordinate schedules and address any technical or operational issues.
Maintain equipment, supplies, and documentation in accordance with company policy and regulatory standards.
Adhere to safety protocols and standard precautions to minimize radiation exposure.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management and as outlined in the full job description and employee handbook.
Qualifications:
Current ARRT certification in Radiography.
Valid state licensure in Massachusetts.
Ability to operate portable radiographic and EKG equipment competently.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to lift and push equipment weighing up to 50-100 lbs., with assistance or using tools such as ramps and pulleys.
Flexibility to work evenings and possibly travel between multiple facilities.

Job Summary
Summary
Under the general direction of the Manager, performs a variety of patient care duties to produce diagnostic imaging through the operation of radiographic equipment, utilizing proper technique. Explains safety protocols, exams, and procedures to patients. Operates fluoroscopic, portable, diagnostic, and other equipment as required. Works as an independent contributor and as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Engages in additional duties as assigned. Assigned to one designated radiography area (Inpatient, Outpatient, or Emergency Room), but may be asked to cover in alternate locations or MGB sites (with appropriate training) should coverage needs arise to ensure a seamless and exemplary patient care experience.
Registered Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required within 90 days of hire.
ssential Functions
-Confirms correct patient and exam to be performed through patient confirmation and interview, patient history, medical record, appropriately modifying and documenting as needed to ensure accurate imaging and records.
-Explains exam to patient, taking into consideration individual physical, emotional, and language needs; Ensures patient compliance and understanding.
-Adjusts equipment to correct settings for all exams to set automated and manual technical factors to safely image patients.
-Performs required imaging using the appropriate equipment according to department protocol and/or the Radiologist's request.
-Ensures exams are labeled correctly prior to transmission to PACS, and ensures images successfully arrive in PACS.
