1867: Members incorporate the Young Men's Christian Association of Painesville.

1914

1914: Painesville's becomes one of the first Y's to offer classes and activities for young women.

1954

1954: The Y opens branches in Madison and Willoughby.

1981

1981: The Outdoor Family Center opens on 177 acres of donated forest in Perry Township.

1990

1990: The Y starts opening child care centers at its branches.

1994

1994: The Y starts its popular yearly fund-raising raffle for a Dream House.

2013

2013: The Y and the Painesville schools boost reading and writing for elementary schoolers through the new Summer Learning Loss Prevention Program.
