POSITION SUMMARY:
Position is responsible for tasks related to all aspects of preparing and serving school meals and maintaining/cleaning the food service site.
PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS:
* Assist in food preparation as assigned.
* Serve food in the correct portions by adhering to the technician's records and standardized recipes.
* Set up food on serving lines in a timely manner.
* Adhere to the District's HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) plan.
* Follow all SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures).
* Follow all sanitation and safety processes and standards.
* Wash, sanitize, and store kitchen equipment and utensils according to district processes.
* Perform cashier duties based on defined procedures, when assigned.
* Support and promote the meal programs offered at the site.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY
Under direction of the Grounds Maintenance Supervisor, maintain and improve campus grounds to the level of attention determined by the University of St. Thomas management. Work with student grounds employees to complete projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Maintains turf and lawn areas, mows, trims, and edges using riding mower, push mower, weed whip and edger. Performs the installation of mulch (rock and organic), plants, shrubs, trees, sod and seed. Applies pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers to limited areas as directed. Cleans and provides proper upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, surface parking lots, parking ramps, paver patios, and storm sewer grates. Maintains exterior grounds features including planters, bike racks, picnic tables and benches, banners, exterior signage, and other outdoor furnishings. Move exterior furniture and miscellaneous equipment, including assisting with exterior events set up and tear down. Perform regular maintenance and minor repairs on Grounds equipment and tools. Report items that need repair including exterior lighting, hard surfaces, etc. Equipment operated snow removal (plow truck, Kubota, Bobcat) for sidewalks, steps, roadways, parking lots and ramps. Position may be required to respond 24/7 to grounds related emergencies and weather-related events. Some weekends, evenings and holidays may be required. Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications
* High school diploma or the equivalent
* Two years of experience in commercial grounds maintenance, landscaping, and equipment operated snow removal.
* Must have a valid Class D state driver's license with an acceptable driving record and experience operating a motor vehicle.
* Must meet the DOT physical qualifications and possess a valid medical card.
Preferred Qualifications
* Knowledge and experience in landscape equipment operation and maintenance practices.
* Knowledge and experience with plant material identification and maintenance.
* Knowledge and experience in landscape irrigation programming, repairs and water conservation practices.
* Hands on working knowledge of proper grounds maintenance procedures, event support and safety procedures.
Abilities: The ability to read, write and follow oral written instructions. Ability to operate various cleaning, landscaping and snow removal equipment including, but not limited to UTV, skid loaders, forklift, mowers (riding and push), snow

As part of the Behavior Intervention Team (BIT), the Behavior Interventionist position assists HVED member districts and HVED programs in implementing a continuum of social and emotional learning (SEL) support, to address behaviors specifically for students requiring intensive, highly individualized intervention. This position provides collaboration, consultation, and direct support, on specific student cases and overall programming, creates and facilitates high-quality professional learning opportunities for member district and HVED program staff, and assists in the coordination of service delivery to ensure students are receiving effective SEL instruction designed to meet their needs in their least restrictive environment.
Qualifications:
The Education District requires an applicant to have a PELSB License, preferably in one or more of the following areas of licensure:
Licensed Special Education Teacher, preferably in Emotional or Behavior Disorders (EBD), Licensed School Psychologist, Licensed School Counselor, Board Certification Behavior Analyst (BCBA), School Social Worker, or School Counselor.
Experience in child behavior and intervention experience required.
Must have a valid driver's license to travel between HVED programs and member school district(s).
Competencies:
Must be able to work in or lead team decision-making situations
Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills
Must possess ability to problem-solve
Must possess ability to coordinate with others and lead teams when necessary
Knowledgeable in interpreting and supporting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs)

Collaborate with school teams to assist in conducting and writing an Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) accompanied by an individualized Positive Behavior Support Plan (PBSP) or Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP).
Support staff in the development of IEPs that are designed to meet the unique SEL needs of students.
Support staff in the development and implementation of appropriate behavior programming (including instructional strategies, data collection and interpretation, and resources) that align to specific behavioral and SEL skills identified in IEP goals.
Promote collaboration between general education and special education staff regarding accommodations and modifications that may help students to reach their social, emotional, and/or behavioral IEP goals and access the general curriculum.
Ensure processes are being followed that support district placement decisions for students transitioning to and from Federal Setting III and IV programs to ensure that students remain in their least restrictive environment.
Assist in developing student reintegration plans, including PBSPs or BIPs, to increase the likelihood that transitioning students will function effectively in the mainstream school setting.
Collaborate with school staff to develop PBSPs or BIPs for students with emotional and/or behavioral needs.
Engage in professional learning aligned with HVED goals and district-specific needs to inform HVED professional learning opportunities related to SEL programming and evidenced-based behavior interventions.
Facilitate professional learning using effective adult learning strategies on a variety of SEL-related topics.
Oversee training and certification of staff in the use of restrictive procedures and de-escalation techniques.
Provide on-site coaching and support to enhance implementation of best practices in SEL.
Stay up to date on local and county services and supports available to the districts we serve.
Support schools with implementation of best practices in SEL-related assessment, instruction, inclusion, accessibility, and program evaluation.
Assist in assessing needs of individual students or small groups to support various resource allocation and/or programming decisions.

Support teams in planning for transitions of students with SEL-related needs between buildings (i.e., from elementary to secondary).

As part of the Behavior Intervention Team (BIT), the Behavior Interventionist (BCBA) position assists HVED member districts and HVED programs in implementing a continuum of social and emotional learning (SEL) support, to address behaviors specifically for students requiring intensive, highly individualized intervention. This position provides collaboration, consultation, and direct support, on specific student cases and overall programming, creates and facilitates high-quality professional learning opportunities for member district and HVED program staff, and assists in the coordination of service delivery to ensure students are receiving effective SEL instruction designed to meet their needs in their least restrictive environment.
Qualifications:
The Education District requires an applicant to have a PELSB License, preferably in one or more of the following areas of licensure:
Licensed Special Education Teacher, preferably in Emotional or Behavior Disorders (EBD), Licensed School Psychologist, Licensed School Counselor, Board Certification Behavior Analyst (BCBA), School Social Worker, or School Counselor.
Master's degree in behavior analysis or a related field
Certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
Experience in child behavior and intervention experience required.
Must have a valid driver's license to travel between HVED programs and member school district(s).

Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
Provide on-site coaching and support for the implementation of evidence-based instructional practices across the secondary and tertiary prevention levels within a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework.
Collaborate with the Behavior Intervention Team, School Psychologists, Special Education Coordinators, and school teams to develop evaluation plans that equip teams to identify students with intensive social, emotional, or behavioral needs.
Collaborate with school teams to assist in conducting and writing an Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) accompanied by an individualized Positive Behavior Support Plan (PBSP) or Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP).
Support staff in the development of IEPs that are designed to meet the unique SEL needs of students.
Support staff in the development and implementation of appropriate behavior programming (including instructional strategies, data collection and interpretation, and resources) that align to specific behavioral and SEL skills identified in IEP goals.
Promote collaboration between general education and special education staff regarding accommodations and modifications that may help students to reach their social, emotional, and/or behavioral IEP goals and access the general curriculum.
Ensure processes are being followed that support district placement decisions for students transitioning to and from Federal Setting III and IV programs to ensure that students remain in their least restrictive environment.
Assist in developing student reintegration plans, including PBSPs or BIPs, to increase the likelihood that transitioning students will function effectively in the mainstream school setting.
Collaborate with school staff to develop PBSPs or BIPs for students with emotional and/or behavioral needs.
Engage in professional learning aligned with HVED goals and district-specific needs to inform HVED professional learning opportunities related to SEL programming and evidenced-based behavior interventions.
Facilitate professional learning using effective adult learning strategies on a variety of SEL-related topics.
Oversee training and certification of staff in the use of restrictive procedures and de-escalation techniques.
Provide on-site coaching and support to enhance implementation of best practices in SEL.
Stay up to date on local and county services and supports available to the districts we serve.
Support schools with implementation of best practices in SEL-related assessment, instruction, inclusion, accessibility, and program evaluation.
Assist in assessing needs of individual students or small groups to support various resource allocation and/or programming decisions.
Share resource materials and equipment for SEL-related needs with HVED and member district staff.
Support teams in planning for transitions of students with SEL-related needs between buildings (i.e., from elementary to secondary).
Participate and/or facilitate HVED internal meetings and workgroups as assigned.
Participate in interagency collaboration as appropriate to support the SEL-related needs of students and families.
Perform other duties as assigned.
