The WSF business relies heavily on this Labor Relations Manager position, which provides the entire organization with strategic direction and oversight regarding Ferries' labor relations. In addition, the WSF Labor Relations Manager acts as the company's representative in all interactions with the eleven (11) Ferries unions, participating in and coordinating PERC hearings, negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and other forms of labor dispute resolution. Among the varied range of responsibilities held within this role, the Labor Relations Manager will:
* Administer and interpret labor relations contracts and work with management/directors and unions to resolve issues of mutual concern during the term of the agreement.
* Resolve employee grievances via the contracts and grievance procedures, including arbitration and mediation.
* Develop and present training programs on labor relations and employment-related matters.
* Interface proactively and build relationships with union officials to anticipate potential labor relations issues.
* Execute proactive labor/management relations strategies and actions to ensure positive employee relations and enable business priority and achievement.

The salary range for this position is $180,000 - $265,000. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive plan.

This role will work closely with the client manager to enhance and manage their Third-Party Resilience program, being able to work closely with external vendors to ensure compliance with the client's third party policies.
This position is set for an 18-month contract.
Monitor potentially disruptive global events which may impact significant project locations and triaging alerts in partnership with procurement and supplier teams.
Evaluate event alerts based on their impact and severity and escalating incidents which threaten critical suppliers or datacenter construction sites.
Support and lead a variety of supplier assessments and maintaining updated supplier information.
Help develop and maintain comprehensive business continuity plans for critical suppliers to ensure they can continue operations during supply chain disruptions.
Stay informed about relevant regulations and standards related resilience and continuity and ensure that all activities comply with these requirements.
Maintaining open lines of communication with suppliers to ensure they are informed about resilience expectations and any changes in requirements.
Create and lead trainings regarding third-party resilience standards for both new suppliers and procurement personnel.
Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of resilience initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
Prepare and present regular updates to leadership on the status of resilience initiatives, including progress, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
5-8 years of relevant business continuity/third-party resilience experience.
Thorough understanding of third-party (i.e., vendor, supplier, etc.) risk management, with prior experience in supporting program solutions, risk scoring and aggregation methodologies and designing committee reporting.
Previous experience in helping to develop third-party resilience plans for a wide range of business units.
Understanding of supply chain dynamics and global events which potentially affect the equipment and service suppliers of the business.
Understanding of global risk regulatory requirements with emphasis on US.
Experience working with data visualization tools to create presentations for stakeholders.
Industry certifications such as CBCP, MBCP, ISO22301 certification.
Experience driving cross-organizational projects to resolution.
Ability to articulate Business Continuity concepts and methodology.
