JOB SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for supervising all positions within the Maintenance Department and will work collectively with the Plant Management team to coordinate and discuss plans to maximize bioprocessing performance. Team members in this position are in charge of coordinating and supporting the bioprocessing facility maintenance team and contractors to achieve a safe and efficient completion of the workload. The Maintenance Manager is also accountable for developing preventative maintenance schedules for process equipment and maintaining up-to-date Standard Operating Procedures. POET bioprocessing facilities operate on a 24-hour continuous schedule. Team member must be available as needed.
Ensure team members are trained in all aspects of existing maintenance procedures.
Provide trend and root cause failure analysis that affects the plant safety, operation and reliability.
Support maintenance team members as well as contractors to ensure tasks are completed in a safe and efficient manner.
Assist Maintenance Technicians with duties as necessary; this includes, but is not limited to, routine cleaning and testing and working on the floor with Technicians when shutdowns occur.
Schedule and complete work orders and projects needed for repair or upgrades.
Coordinate facility shutdown planning and execution with the management team.
Oversee the application and completion of the facility's preventative maintenance schedules for all equipment and work orders.
Maintain the preventative maintenance (PM) and equipment database in the Maximo system.
Remove, install, rebuild, weld, torch, lubricate and clean all equipment associated with bioprocessing processes as assigned
Create and present reports detailing maintenance activities, state of bioprocessing equipment, shut down planning and cost control.
Contact contractors and vendors to assist in troubleshooting and maintaining bioprocessing equipment as needed.
Assist the management team in the development of the annual Repair and Maintenance budget.
Maintain the spare parts inventory and supplies; support the purchasing function in coordination with the maintenance team.
Work closely with other operating departments to reduce or eliminate down time as directed by the management team.
Ensure compliance with all company, State and Federal regulatory agency policies and rules and assist in implementing approved changes.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This role has some physical requirements that our team members will need to be able to perform, such as:

Job Description
Certified Medication Aid (CMA)
Opening: Lake City and Rockwell City, 40 hours per week, every 3rd weekend. Administer medication to clients and provide nursing services in accordance with their needs under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Ensure clients take the proper medications at the right time and assist other staff members as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities of Certified Medication Aid
Deliver routine daily medications, either prescription or non-prescription, to clients.
Coordinate with nurses to assist with patient care, including taking clients to appointments.
Follow written or verbal instructions on how to manage medications
Respond to call light/code whites and code greens to assist with patient needs
Track all prescription and non-prescription drugs administered, keeping meticulous records of dosage times and amounts.
Ensure clients take their medication.
Follow all organization standards and regulations to ensure the safety of clients/members and staff.
Complete additional assigned duties as directed by nursing services.
Assist Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) with routine care for the clients/members when nursing assistance is not needed as directed by the nurse on duty.
Complete monthly medication passes and attend the required number of CMA in-services as outlined in the Opportunity Living Medication Administration Policy.
Serve as an advocate for client rights.
Maintain flexibility of schedules to provide adequate coverage.
Assist in ensuring the effective and efficient operation of the organization by performing all duties as assigned by the supervisor/manager.
Maintain professional competency by participating in continuing education, in-services, and personal growth experiences.
Protect the privacy of clients and staff by maintaining the confidentiality of records and personal information and following all policies and procedures under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED. Someone currently pursuing a Diploma or GED will be considered.
Current Medication Aide certification.
Keen attention to detail.
Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Good understanding of medical and pharmacological terminology
Training and/or experience in developmental disabilities preferred.
Must have a sincere respect for and desire to work with persons with disabilities.

Ability to pass criminal/registry background checks.
Clear tuberculosis screening.
