Other duties as assigned. Ensures sterility indicators and lot stickers are present on all instrument sets and packages. Operates complex sterilization equipment, selecting the correct method of sterilization based on manufacturer instructions. Reviews and signs all sterilizer recording charts to verify proper sterilization parameters before releasing items for clinical use. Monitors sterilizer printouts, maintains records, and documents all requirements in appropriate log books or computer systems.
