This position provides care, supervision and training for consumers within F.I.'s Group Day Supports and Activities Program at the Life Skills Center. Performance of duties reflects Flathead Industries' Mission of “

This position works in a team setting and reports to the Lead Staff of the Life Skills Center.
1. Be flexible to work at either side of The Life Skills Center, with an occasional assignment to Kalispell Thrift when needed.
2. Participate in routine operations, which includes supervising consumers at the work site or in the community and assist as needed in daily activities and personal care, picking up and delivery of materials, handling financial transactions, minor facility maintenance and cleaning at The Life Skills Center.
3. Assist in assessing, implementing, documenting and evaluating actions and action plans, individual checklist/instructions, including behavioral programs. Collect and record program data for consumers. Record and analyze periodic case notes.
4. Ability to pass and maintain Flathead Industries training sequence, which includes First-Aid, CPR, MANDT(management of non-aggressive adults with disabilities), Accuflo E-Learning, PSP 101, Foundations, Chaperone and/or Customer service training. In addition must obtain State mandated Medication Certification, and College of Direct Supports.
5. Complete work shift logs and follow supervision protocols for specific individuals.
6. Participate in providing safety training to consumers. Observe all safety rules and follow safe job procedures. Maintains clean and safe working environment in facility to which assigned, participate in regular facility maintenance schedules, fire drills and follows and ensures compliance to corporate safety policies.
7. Cope with stressful circumstances and cordially interact with coworkers as a member of a team.
8. Communicate information effectively, both verbally and in writing. Demonstrate good customer service skills when working with the general public.
9. Assist in establishing and maintaining working relationships with families, guardians and advocates of the consumers, with neighborhood residents, and with representatives of public service agencies.

Job Summary:
The Program for Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) Licensed Addictions Counselor (LAC) is a transdisciplinary team member that holds expertise in addiction and recovery interventions for individuals diagnosed with severe and disabling mental illnesses (SDMI). PACT LACs are out in the community, working one-on-one with clients, advocating for the promotion of client healing, self-determination, education, and awareness around one's mental health and co-occurring diagnoses, leading to stabilization and integration.
A day in the life of a PACT LAC includes providing positive role modeling through professionalism, timeliness, use of ethical reflection, the ability to maintain flexibility and a commitment to appropriate and direct communication. Our PACT LACs embrace, develop, and implement recovery-based principles with clients, the PACT team, and other clinical voices. LACs also complete clinical documentation, assessments, evaluations, participate in the creation of treatment plans, check in with clients to monitor baseline, assist with providing medication prompts, facilitate individual and group recovery, and other various tasks that break up the day and energize your work.
