The Manager of Maintenance Engineering will be responsible for the maintenance and operations related to the central utility plant, industrial wastewater plant, and the high voltage substation at the site to support semiconductor wafer manufacturing. This role requires strong understanding of the industrial facilities systems and organizational leadership. This team is responsible for the most critical infrastructure systems at the site. Qualifications
* Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Maintenance Engineering or related discipline
* 10+ years experience in a facilities management position
* Able to read and understand complex electrical, mechanical and automation system diagrams
* Demonstrated leadership skills
* Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent project management skills
* Strong understanding of Preventative Maintenance, Total Predictive Maintenance, and Reliability Centered Maintenance systems
Candidate should have a good working knowledge of:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Position will support two USA manufacturing sites that make Hard Disk Drive components. One Factory is in Fremont CA, and the other is in South San Jose. Both Factories are rated as Class 100 Cleanroom and operates 24x7 with minimal interruption. Base of IT operations is at the Fremont site, but employee may need to work at the Great Oaks South San Jose location intermittently.
* Job is on-site work only with occasional remote work during emergencies. Position pays hourly with a set weekly schedule tuned to optimize manufacturing coverage. Position will liaison with applications development team for problems that require code changes.
* Position will require working in the Cleanroom and follow Cleanroom Protocol.

Job Description
The primary duties for this position are: create, modify/optimize inspection recipes on all available inspection tools (ComPlus, NSX, ODIN and AVI) to support wafer production line at WDC Fremont wafer fab. In addition, report the inspection tool issue, inspection results via all available communication tools - MITECS-annotation, Teams, Emails etc. to the engineering teams cross the organizations. Disposition wafers per OCAP instructions. Carry out small relevant projects.
The second major duties are to support the general Metrology - such as helping to dispo wafers, re-measure wafers, in the trained metrology modules so to reduce the wafer holds and therefore reduce the Cycle Time.
Qualifications
Experience in wafer manufacture fabs; knowledges of using wafer manufacture engineering systems (MES - such as MESA or MITECS); Good communication skills; Team-worker; Self-motivated; Stronger learner; Degree - Bachelors - better of STEM majors.

**Job Description**
Western Digital is seeking a Senior Field Application Engineer to join our technical support team. We are looking for candidates that can work in a fast-growing and dynamic environment and are able to build strong relationships with customers.
As a Field Applications Engineer you will be part of a high performing team supporting key Cloud accounts. Candidate will be responsible for driving qualification activities, working with customer and cross functional teams on getting WDC products qualified. This includes gathering customer requirements, failure analysis and debug, coordinating technical meetings, driving technical escalations.
Candidates for this role needs to be highly motivated, self-sufficient, and demonstrate good leadership. Individuals should possess excellent technical and communication skills, able to articulate technical issues and requirements. Occasional domestic or international travel. This position is full-time and located in Milpitas, CA.
RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Manage product qualification and activities.
+ Work with customers on defining qualification plans, sample requirements, design/feature requirements and communicate internally.
+ Understand customer qualification processes and applications.
+ Lead qualification and technical meetings with customer.
+ Coordinate and work with product and development teams on Concept and Design Reviews.
+ Lead the team in resolving technical issues and work with cross functional teams on resolution.
+ Represent and advocate customer needs and priorities to internal teams.
+ Provide technical support and documentation.
+ Debug and 1st level failure analysis.
**Qualifications**
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
+ BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience in related field.
+ More than ten years' experience in a technical customer-facing role.
+ Familiar with cloud storage architectures and concepts such as erasure coding, distributed file systems, object storage, Linux OS.
+ Working knowledge of SSD and NAND along with SAS/SATA/NVME interfaces.
+ Experience with debugging, analyzing and resolving storage related issues.
+ Experience with protocol analyzers a plus.
+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
+ Excellent project management skills.
+ Experience with creating failure analysis reports and 8D reports.

This role will be an integral part of the corporate accounting team helping to drive the close and consolidation process with a continued focus on improvement to achieve best-in-class results.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Engage in and oversee consolidation activities as part of the monthly close, including foreign currency remeasurement and translation and cost allocations.
* Assist in the oversight of master data maintenance activities, including chart of accounts and department structures.
* Seek opportunities to streamline and shorten the close and reporting cycle, including identifying and recommending process and system enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness of close and consolidation activities while maintaining effective internal controls.
* Prepare journal entries and account analyses for internal legal entity restructuring efforts and external general ledger accounting.
* Support cross-functional teams including revenue, tax, and cost accounting with journal entry posting and account analyses.
* Prepare and perform general account reconciliations and analysis for assigned accounts, including internal equity.
* Assist in the monthly Balance Sheet fluctuation analysis.
* Prepare monthly reporting schedules to executives, providing commentary and noting fluctuation changes from prior periods.
* Support the Sarbanes-Oxley documentation for key Balance Sheet and Income Statement accounts and relevant control activities.
* Assist in the preparation of quarterly SEC financial reporting, including cash flow statements, footnotes, and disclosures.
* Proactively identify issues and assist in optimizing systems, upgrades, and automation of accounting processes
* Assist with quarterly reviews and annual audits conducted by external auditors.
* Preparation of ad-hoc analyses and special projects as requested.
* Assist with quarterly, interim, and year-end audits.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in accounting or similar degree
* 6+ years of relevant experience including familiarity with areas of general accounting, intercompany transactions, account reconciliations, multi-currency consolidations, and financial reporting.
* Public accounting / audit experience with an active CPA license preferred.
* Experience with SAP and Oracle systems preferred.
* Attention to detail and accuracy is a must.
* Advanced Excel skills
* Self-motivated with effective communication skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities. Desire to work collaboratively within and across teams (including internationally), and with internal/external auditors.
