The role of the finishing operator is to ensure the packaging, labeling, and finished product are correct per our customer requirements in our work instructions as the operator performs the functions of packing, glove pull, and basket return. The Quality Inspector will support the Manufacturing/Production teams, and be responsible for learning and executing detailed inspection processes necessary to ensure a quality product in a timely manner. Some of the daily duties will include inspecting incoming materials, equipment, and products to ensure quality specifications are met. Additionally, you'll investigate/troubleshoot product and production issues, take corrective action as well as implement standards/specifications/processes cross-functionally with Quality Teams. **This role requires candidates to relocate to Costa Mesa for a 3-month training program, with the goal to be back in Columbus, OH full time in Q1 of 2026. SUMMARY The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting parts of Pressure Vessels and process piping for stress and failure using multiple methods per regulatory, customer, and internal requirements. Candidates for this role should have a working knowledge of all inspection roles/ processes such as visual inspection, hydrostatic and various NDE methods. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for helping to detect the root cause of Quality issues as well as keeping track of Quality documentation through Westerman's document control software. The Quality Inspector must have applicable knowledge of all ASME codes that pertain to pressure vessels. The Quality Inspector will be required to have the ability to train, coordinate, and communicate effectively and professionally with all departments and personnel.
