Alex currently serves as the Associate Vice President of Human Resources at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine and UHealth System. She is responsible for all Human Resource functions on the University of Miami's medical campus, which includes three Hospitals, a Physician Practice, a research enterprise and multiple ambulatory facilities in the South Florida region.

Prior to joining the University of Miami, Alex served as the Health System Director for Human Resources at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, the #1 Pediatric Hospital in the Country. Alex was responsible for the overall HR Operation, including but not limited to all Employee and Labor relations, Recruitment, Compensation, Organizational Effectiveness, Change Management, Performance Management and Reward and Recognition.

Alex is passionate about a Business Partner model approach to HR, as the best way to help Organization’s succeed. Understanding the business and leveraging HR expertise to ensure strong overall Organizational Health is at the core of who Alex is.

Alex was born and raised in Europe, and in addition to English is also fluent in Italian and Spanish. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor is Sociology from Ursinus College.

Gary Davidson is a Senior VP/CIO at Lancaster General Hospital. He has worked as Chief Information Officer at Bridgeport Hospital and Dir:Corporate Systems at Yale New Haven Health. Gary works or has worked as VP/CIO at St Raphael Healthcare System, MEMBER at Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society, and MEMBER at College of Healthcare Information Management Executives. He studied at Yale University and University of New Haven.

Mr. Larry Strassner PhD, FACHE, RN, NEA-BC is the Senior Vice President of Operations and the CNO at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center, Inc., member of Columbia-based MedStar Health, Inc. Under his leadership MFSMC achieved initial Magnet designation in November 2008 and redesignation in July 2013. Areas of operational and strategic business responsibilities are the Departments of Medicine, Surgery, Womens and Children, Behavioral Health and Nursing Administration and Nurse Recruitment. He also has operational and strategic business responsiblities for the departments of Pharmacy, Clinical Laboratory/Pathology, Nutrition Services (including catering), Cardiopulmonary Services (Respiratory Therapy, Sleep Center, Pulmonary Functions, EEG, EKG, Cath Lab), Imaging Services (Interventional and Diagnostic), Pastoral Care, Volunteer services, Auxilary, Patient Advocacy, Clinical Informatics, Plant Operations, Security, Bio-medical Engineering and Enviromental services.

He reports directly to the CEO and is a member of the MFSMC Senior Executive Team and a Board Member. He has a matrixed reporting relationship to the Sr. Vice President and System CNO.

Michael Ripchinski is a Chief Clinical Officer at Lancaster General Hospital and Chief Medical Information Ofcr at Lancaster General Hospital. He works or has worked as FELLOW at American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP). Michael attended Pennsylvania State University, University of Saint Joseph, and University of Scranton.

Francis Manning is a Board Member at Pennsylvania Academy of Ophthalmology; Partner at MANNING, ROMMEL & THODE ASSOCIATES; and Board Member at Physicians Surgery Center Lancaster General and is based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He has worked as Partner at Eye Physicians Of Lancaster. Francis works or has worked as Founding Partner at Manning & Rommel Associates. He studied at Harvard University between 1981 and 1985, Penn State University between 1985 and 1989, and University of Pennsylvania between 1990 and 1993.
