Shift & Working Hours: Day Shift; 8:00AM to 4:30PM; Weekends/Overtime as needed.
In this role, you'll be a key member of our Land O'Lakes, Inc. warehousing team, performing front-line processes that ensure successful delivery of final products. You'll gain skills and experience in warehouse operations including coordinating inbound/outbound deliveries, packing/loading final products using a forklift, assisting with cycle counts, and organizing areas of the warehouse. This role is part of our WinField United business who supplies agricultural inputs, expertise, and technology to our member-owners and other partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Complies with all safety processes and insists on safety practices of self and others
Shows up on time, completes tasks by deadlines, and adapts to changes quickly
Processes work orders by selecting correct products from racks, palletizing them, shrink-wrapping, and staging the product order for delivery
Able to multi-task and keep up with warehousing demands in a fast-paced environment
Ensures all standard operating procedures are followed
Maintains cleanliness and organization of work area
Successful forklift certification required
Required Experience and Skills:
Must be 18 years or older
1+ years of work experience in a warehouse environment
Basic computer and math skills
Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions
Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve and troubleshoot
Strong collaboration, communication skills, and is always respectful
Preferred Experience:
2+ years of warehousing work experience
Forklift experience
Physical Requirements:
Able to lift/carry up to 60 pounds
Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements
Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment
Working in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include areas where dust and chemicals are present

You will be responsible for the maintenance and ensuring that safety, customer service, quality, cost, and inventory control programs for the site meet organizational and regulatory compliance requirements. Required Experience/Education:

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Manage transportation and/or distribution operations activities in compliance with company and regulatory rules and regulations, including operational efficiency, safety, and a professional and organized atmosphere
· Monitor daily operations to make necessary adjustments while effectively communicating with members or customers, drivers, dispatch, and/or other DFA transportation or distribution locations
· Monitor and control costs for labor, supplies, and maintenance; approve expense reports and department expenditures within established guidelines
· Analyze and document business processes and problems; develop solutions and procedures to improve the operating quality and efficiency with the department and with other operating facilities
· Establish positive working relationships with members or customers to ensure optimal service
· Hold supervisors and drivers accountable for providing professional interactions and courteous service to members, customers, regulatory personnel, and co-workers; handle escalated customer inquiries/concerns or internal issues
· Assist in environmental, safety, and transportation compliance and reporting for assigned location; direct staff in the preparation and distribution of operational reports (KPI's)
· Inspect and schedule fleet maintenance to ensure preventative maintenance/repairs are done in a timely and efficient manner; ensure equipment is maintained and cared for properly
· Interview and hire new employees and identify training needs to continually develop and improve the workforce in conjunction with human resources
· Function as a resource and coach to transportation supervisors. Support employees to reach performance expectations through training and coaching. Establish and communicate department goals.

Position Summary:
The Maintenance Manager will oversee all aspects of equipment, facilities, and refrigeration system maintenance at our high-volume distribution center. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of material handling equipment (MHE), dock and building systems, tax stamping equipment, and an ammonia refrigeration system supporting perishable distribution.
The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for taking a lead role the preventative and reactive maintenance programs of all equipment throughout the Plant.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage daily maintenance operations for all MHE (forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, etc.), dock equipment, and facility infrastructure.
2. Manage, maintain, and ensure compliance for the ammonia refrigeration system, adhering to OSHA, EPA, and PSM/RMP standards.
3. Oversee the operation, troubleshooting, and repair of tax stamping equipment, ensuring reliability and compliance with tobacco regulatory requirements.
4. Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and reduce reactive repairs.
5. Direct, train, and evaluate maintenance technicians, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
6. Manage maintenance budget, including labor, spare parts inventory, vendor contracts, and capital project planning.
7. Collaborate with operations leadership to align maintenance priorities with distribution center performance goals.
8. Ensure compliance with all safety policies, regulatory requirements, and company standards for food safety, quality, and workplace safety. (Solid & Hazardous Waste, PSM(APSM), MHE Licensing, etc.)
9. Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and inspections through a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
10. Lead troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions for recurring equipment or system issues.
11. Serve as the site subject matter expert for refrigeration and tax stamping systems, coordinating inspections, audits, and emergency response plans.
12. Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

This position requires significant interaction with the Sr Mechanic, DC Manager.
Requirements
Minimum Education:
5-10 years of progressive maintenance leadership experience, preferably in a distribution center, warehouse or manufacturing environment.
Preferred Education:
* RETA (Refrigerating Engineers & Technicians Association) certification or equivalent.
* Technical degree or certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical, Electrical, or Refrigeration.
* Experience in food distribution, convenience store distribution, or cold-chain logistics.
Minimum Experience:
3-5 years of progressive maintenance leadership experience, preferably in a distribution center, warehouse or manufacturing environment..

Our Opportunity
We are looking for a Full-Time Warehouse Manager for our Jones, LA Retail Location. Our culture fosters a connected work environment, employee engagement, and career development.
Summary/Objective
Responsible for managing the daily operations of the location's Crop Protection warehouse, from maintaining adequate level inventory and frequent spot checks when filling orders to assure that shrink is held to a minimum.
Essential Functions
* Manages the warehouse and storage facility in compliance of OSHA,DOT,EPA, and EHS guidelines
* Directs the pickup of products on site from customers as well as any deliveries to be made
* Trains, motivates, and evaluates warehouse personnel, loader operators, applicator operators and truck drivers on the safe and efficient use of equipment and vehicles
* Receives and inspects all incoming products for quantity, quality, and condition of product
* Develops and maintains local emergency procedures and fire prevention programs and trains location personnel in proper response procedures
* Monitors product inventory and continuously works with GreenPoint Ag wholesale distribution and other retail facilities to transfer/receive product; orders product, verifies accuracy and condition of product received
* Coordinates with sales representatives to effectively manage walk-in customers and in-store sales
* Maintains a high level of expertise to establish themselves as a reliable and credible source for agronomic knowledge
* Maintains inventory by processing purchase orders, receivers, and matching with Winfield invoices
* Responsible for walk in customers front counter sales
* Will be expected to learn all aspects of operating seed treater to help facilitate point of sale seed transaction
* Will be required to have or obtain a Class A CDL with Hazardous material endorsement and will on occasion utilize license for location specific driving and delivering needs
Supervisor Responsibilities
* Supervises staff, including hiring, scheduling, and assigning work, reviewing performance, and recommends salary increases, promotions, transfers, demotions, or terminations.
* Staff includes hourly employees: warehouse personnel, loader operators, applicator operators and truck drivers for assigned location.
Required Qualifications
* Specific site qualifications and progression may apply; location-specific skills may be considered
* Skill Level I - 3+ years of related experience, preferably in an agricultural field
* Skill Level II - 3+ years of related experience; agriculture or related degree or 5+ years combined of related experience in agriculture
* Advanced systems/agriculture software required; Above average Microsoft applications systems preferred
* Experience in agriculture or related industry, preferably in a sales or management role
* High school diploma or GED; may be offset by experience
* Valid driver's license; must be able to meet a Motor Vehicle Review in accordance with Company policy
* Must have or obtain a Class A Commercial Driver's License within the first year of employment
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
* Excellent working knowledge of product chemistry
* Knowledgeable of grower production practices and ag technology systems; knowledgeable with the wide range of products sold
* Above average Computer skills; Excellent systems operating skills with agriculture-related software as well as Microsoft-specific applications
* Financial skills; soft and hard skills with the ability to manage and navigate financial decision-making and problem-solving decisions
* Strong interpersonal/managerial/customer service skills to deal effectively with a broad base of customers, suppliers, and location personnel
* Ability to adapt well to frequent changes in sales priorities in product mix sold, supplier programs, work schedules, and demands of a changing customer base
* Ability to communicate with associates and customers
* Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work in both indoor and outside work environments. Frequently exposed to extreme cold and hot temperatures, wet or humid conditions, and outdoor weather conditions, as well as agricultural and industrial environments requiring the use of PPE.

Transportation/Distribution Supervisor

Job Duties and Responsibilities
Provide daily work direction to professional drivers to ensure safe and efficient operations and to meet customer requirements; maintain daily activity assignments of tractors, trailers, trucks, and drivers
Monitor daily activity to make necessary adjustments in load assignments, special delivery, or pick-up instructions while effectively communicating with members, customers, drivers, dispatch, and/or other DFA transportation or distribution locations
Maintain up-to-date copies of routes; manage the utilization of routing software to increase route efficiency, lower cost, and meet customer demands
Create employee schedules, approve time, resolve timekeeping issues, monitor overtime, and take appropriate actions to meet established goals

The Supervisor Distribution is responsible for the distribution of our fresh produce products from various ports; ensuring product is shipped correctly based on customer parameters. The incumbent interfaces with sales, transportation, brokers, customers, third party warehouse personnel and service providers for an efficient and effective operation and flow of information. This person is also responsible for managing all warehouse employees, including safety. This is a supervisory, exempt position. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manages the distribution of fresh produce products in within the region.
Interfaces with sales, operations, Quality and transportation department to ensure right fruit right customer parameters.

Responsible for managing space allocation for warehouse and or office.
Coordinates all products arriving into the DC including managing inbound and outbound trucking and customer orders. Effective communication and planning required with customs broker and warehouse providers.
