Landec CEO and leadership

Albert D. Bolles, Ph.D. joined the board of directors in May 2018. He is the CEO of Landec Corporation, a company that designs, develops, manufactures and sells health and wellness products for food and biomaterials markets. Before joining Landec, Dr. Bolles served as the executive vice president, chief technology and operations officer of ConAgra Foods, where he directed the development and execution of multiple product innovations. Prior to ConAgra, he was the vice president of worldwide research and development for PepsiCo Beverages and Foods and the research and development director for Gerber Foods. Dr. Bolles is a graduate of Michigan State University, where he earned Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in food science and a bachelors’ degree in microbiology. He holds several patents and has won numerous awards for his contributions to food science, the industry and academics.

John D Morberg is a CEO at Garden Fresh Restaurant Corp and Chief Financial Officer/Secretary at Landec. He has worked as VP:Finance/CFO/Treasurer at Directed Electronics Inc, CFO/General Counsel at Garden Fresh Restaurant Corp, and CFO/General Counsel at BL Restaurants Holding LLC. John works or has worked as MEMBER at The State Bar of California. He attended San Diego and McGeorge School of Law.

Dawn Kimball is an Advisor at AdvisoryCloud and Chief People Officer at Landec and is based in Santa Clara, California. She has worked as VP/DMM Retail Food, Food Development & Kitchen at WILLIAMS SONOMA INC; Director of Human Resources at Belcorp; and Vice President, Enterprise Learning & Talent Management at Charles Schwab. Dawn attended Haas School of Business - UC Berkeley, California State University Long Beach, and National University between 1990 and 1992.
